[Closed] Mansion vs. Titan Rakeback

Hello,

I'm playing NL400+ SSS, let's say 20-30k hands a month.

Which ipoker skin has the best vip system for me?
Talking about shop: is there any convenience in buying some stuffs (like plasma TV, nintendo WII or whatever) or money is always better?
At the moment I'm playing on Full tilt with 27% rakeback. Is it better than what I can have on Ipoker skins? (assuming, and this is not the case, I can find the same amount of high stakes tables).

Thank you in advance

I'm sorry but we have no samplesize on NL400+ FR, so no idea, how many points would you earn here and how much rake would you pay..

Just for info:
If you play ~30k NL200 FR/month, you'd earn <70k MCP, what means Platinum level:

=> 3,150,000 MCP after 6 months (you SHOULD play 6 months here - it's how loyalty system works here)

$7500 bonus costs 2,750,000 MCP...

To be the most effective, you would play 26570 hands/month so would earn exactly $7500.. I'm not sure what rake you pay per 100 hands on NL 200 FR, but if it's less than 4.36 ptBB, you beat FTP's 27%.
+ there're Happy hours for 3 hours/weekend, so it's even better offer if you play during those..

As I said: dont have samplesize on higher limits :(

btw: it's always better to get cash than other stuff...

Even better, there are 4 hours of double MCP happy hour goodness each weekend, and better still, for real sometimes two loose passive players at the same table during this time. Sometimes. Hence FL breeding real men - like the Lynx effect on steriods. :f_love:

thank you very much opal

btw, what about playing on titan poker instead?

you're welcome :)

According to Corey's calculations, it's better to play on Titan unless you reach Diamond+ on Mansion, but there's nice new change in Mansion's VIP system, so I think it's the same now. Or better on Mansion for not-small stakes player to be correct.

Those extra happy hours during the weekend add a lot of %s to your rakeback, if you're able to play them.

+ you get 4 SP/$ rake on Mansion and only 3 SP on Titan ;)

to sum up: Titan's VIP system is easier to understand and you can get the highest rank with no worries, but if you're able to play during Happy hours & make it to Diamond & play there for 6 months, Mansion should be better option for you.

I can calculate it exactly, if you can get some HHs...

Well, last 4 weeks I did arount 10k SP on FT.
Which means 5k$ rake. But it is a "special month" imho, i won't have so much time to play that much in the future.

So just do two hypothesis: 2500 and 4000$ rake a month.
Also I'm afraid there's not much traffica at NL400+ on ipoker network

The problem is I dont know how many points you get on either of these sites, without iPoker hand histories. So, if you can provide me with samplesize or info about how many points you get per 100 hands and how much rake you pay here, I can calculate it. Sadly no without these info...

btw: rake on iPoker is generally higher than on FTP - remember that ;)

Yes, I understand. For me, it's Mansion's coup de grace.

If I read correctly (of which there is no guarantee, and so apologies in advance if this is true), instead of getting my Elite bonus on this months points as I had planned, I will now get the Elite bonus on next months points.

Because after 6 months of grinding on Mansion to get the loyalty bonus I took one month off, I will now receive a boost of 0% on my current months points (which will be in the order of 25k MCPs). So now I am trapped into playing again next month in order to get my Elite bonus from this month, next month.

I'm not usually prone to being completely pissed off with things, outside of politics and my sports teams, but this is completely unbelieveable. I had intended to take a break from iPoker and bonus whore for a bit, but likely returning at some point in some way... now I know for sure if/when I do return, it won't be at Mansion.

I'd just read Mansion's email and watched their funky video about how great their VIP system improvements are. I would have liked a link to the above page to be sent out much sooner - prior to October would have been a great opportunity.

I guess some organisations make the obvious deciscions easier to make.

I just wanted to post a retraction to the above.

Mansion didn't change the policy effective November so I received an upgraded status and the full loyalty bonus for that status at the start of November. Added to that they were also kind enough to provide an MCP target bonus.

I apologise for any negativity in my post and wish to state that Mansion is, with only one minor exception, a positive site to deal with. I have continued to play at this site during December and will certainly consider playing there more in the future.

Thanks for your time.

Hello, I am playing at Mansion and I was thinking to move my money to Titan after I read this thread and the analysis made in the german site. Now we have BetFred and I realy don't understand there Vip program.

I am planning to play 55k hands monthly of NL100 FR starting at february. I made a calculation of the bonus I can get if I stay by 6 months playing this way according to the numbers showing in this link:

https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/de/forum/thread.php?postid=5054990#post5054990

55k Hands = 60k Titan P's = 68k MCP's aprox.

Let say that you are available to play the happy houres and the doble points day each month, if you made 68k MCP's playing 25 days monthly, you made 2.72k per day, we could add 3 or 4 days of points beacause the happy hours and the first day of the month that means 10k extra aprox.

78k MCP's means that you are able to get the next bonuses after 6 months:
1 bonus = $ 7,500.00 usd.
1 bonus = $ 1,000.00 usd.
1 bonus = $ 500.00 usd.

Mansion Total after 6 months playing 55k hands NL100 FR = $ 9,000.00 usd.

At Titan you mad 60k points this means 792k points in 6 months, you can get the next bonuses:
1 bonus = $ 8,000.00 usd.
1 bonus = $ 1,750.00 usd.
1 bonus = $ 150.00 usd.
2 bonus = $ 45.00 usd.

Titan Total after 6 months playing 55k hands NL100 FR = $ 9,990.00 usd.

This is the reason because I am planning to move my money to Titan.
The question is: someone knows or are able to calculate the aprox bonus money that I can get playing the same way at BetFred?.

Hi all, and thanks for this great and helpful post.
There are a similar post with calculations for who play Sng?
Thanks in advance, Bug :spade:

The VIP system is probably changing in January since iPoker is moving from dealt method to contributed. If they don't change the VIP system at all your return is going to decrease dramatically so should probably wait to see the changes.

for titan or mansion?

Mansion already change the vip sistems..

Betfred is also having a Rakerace and since its a new room I assume that there won't be a huge player base there so you can safely assume that you can place atleast for the next month or so which is like an extra $100 atleast.

Guys, I'm sorry if I didn't read the whoole thread, but have you taken in consideration that they double your points if you play euro and GBP tables. It's only this month, but I think that redcar mentioned that otherwise it's multiplied by 1.6 or 1.7 on other months. So, if on a normal month you get 1000 points from euro tables, it will be 1700 or 1600. And he said that these points work for VIP leveling and point boosts, so these already boosted points will be boosted again by your VIP multiplier as I understood it.

Remember: not 100% safe info, but if you could get it confirmed I guess you could stop looking for a better VIP system on ipoker :)

you may be right about more points allocated on EUR and GBP tables, but it doesnt matter as long as you pay more rake..

If you play NL20 in € and conversion rate is 1.5 USD/EUR, than you actually play NL30 in $ (and you pay rake like on this limit), so those extra points just reflect this.

Sure, those 100% extra points are REALLY great promo though.

Yes, this is correct, the points are boosted for the currency (100% this month) and you receive your VIP multiplier on those points as well at the end of the month

Previous months it has been 1.6 for € and 1.7 GBP

Now, I don't know which will be the best for me.

We are continuing the 100% boost on Euro and GBP tables throughout February

Hey guys, I'm fairly new here and to Mansion. Curious as to the amount of time and number of tables you are playing to generate the number of hands you talk about?
