This was only the third hand I played in this tourney and I was only looking to get rid of the limpers and collect the blinds. I thought the raise to 1k wold be enough but obviously not.

Flop: (t3300) 3 :diamond: 4 :diamond: Q :heart: (3 players)
UTG+1 bets t200, UTG+2 calls t200, Hero raises to t2815, UTG+1 raises to t8405, UTG+2 folds

I loved the Q but not the 2 diamonds. With what was in the pot and the min bet and call I figured my only option was to push. When he called I put him on AQ or 2 diamonds.

Turn: (t9130) A :spade: (2 players)

River: (t9130) 8 :club: (2 players)

I will let folks guess what he had and will post if you want but I am more interested in wether you feel I played the hand right or not.

villain is obviously a fish .. he should have a set or AA/KK normally. Given the action preflop i think you played it right . Epecially since it's a 1$ tourney.. i would have played it the same on the flop .

Preflop i don't like to raise the limpers that much cause it's a very low limit 1$ so people may play extremely loose or extremely tight, either way fishy. So if someone limps i think you will get called very often with questionable holdings. You better do that with high pocket pair next time.

That one was far too easy - he had 5c 2c of course and turned the str8. I guess he only called the pfr "because they were suited" lol.

I will admit to being less than impressed at the time and he was lucky it was not a live tourney or I might have had to drag him across the table and pound some pre flop calling range info into him lol.

lol,

Yesterday some donk kicked me out of a tourny with T5s. Sort of the same situation, but even worse. He called my pre-flop raise OOP (because there were suited ;) ). Called my AI on the flop without even having a pair, FD, OESD, GS (I have TPTK). He catches runner-runner flush ♠_confused:

is so funny ♦, i had 2 simular situations like this but i have much stronger hand
1 time i floped set guy had 5s3s on 4c6cJs flop (he had back door flush lool) i open from mid pos. btn caled, flop i bet JJJ he raises me i shove i thought he had lower set or flush draw he called hit str8 on turn 7c, i have Jc lool and didnt redraw on river for boat or flush and he get 2/3 of mine stack and he wrote in chat donk :)))
2 time i have qq same scenario i open raise from early bb calls flop 3d9dTd he checks i bet he shoves i thought for a while made a call had Qd he show 7d8c, and hit J on turn suck me out and this guy also wrote to me in the chat fish, he bust me out and I was rofl, didnt tilt at all, couse thats where the $$$$ came from

those guys were convised that the outplayed me ♦ i love them.

nh i think you made everything fine.
preflop the raise is good.
the shove on the flop is good.
so its a nice hand.
