Right. So OP needs to include more info on his moves, if any. If his calling range is 100% of his raising range, which it proves to be, this is an easy fold.

And since the BB is hitting the other short stack next, folding leaves us in good shape here to play at this aggro guy in another hand. Shoving loose is better than calling in this spot.

I play 9 man SnG's to make the maximum long term profit not to finish first. If this means having the discipline to fold until you're sure of finishing ITM when you are not the chip leader then so be it... even this double through doesn't ensure that you will pick up the first place.

Another thing is that after you shove they'll be 5400 (1200bet + 200sb + 4000hero) in the pot and 2800 for HIM to call giving almost 2/1 from the pot. This means that his 78s is a correct call, infact even if he's holding 72o the call isn't so terrible if he makes you for overcards. Does this leave us with any FE ?

His calling range doesn't really matter. ICM (independent chips model) means how much your chips are worth.

well if you finish 4th you get nothing, if you finish 3rd you double up.

so unless you get a monster. I mean KK+. if folding guarantees you to be ITM. you fold. then once itm you play for first. I dont know if i was clear ♦ but it is a try.

His calling range is probably the most important piece of information here. If he is calling 100% of the cards he raised with its probably -EV$. If on the other hand he is folding 100% of the cards he raised (other extreme) then we can push AK as well as worse cards. Obviously it's somewhere in the middle so if we take into acount our FE in the ICM calculation it will give a more precise result.
