haha ull change your mind on hellmuth if you watch the latest PAD. Or million dollar cash game wher he pissed away 3 BI's. But then agen I cant figure out whether it is for TV time or not.

Back to microstakes for Lolmuth.

He believes he's a great player, at least. Does that count?

I'm gonna be unoriginal and say Ivey. Just like the guy's attitude, what can I say?

On Hellmuth: He is not bad, he plays very solid abc-poker. He is just not amongst the greatest.

where the hell did you get the idea that he plays solid ABC???????????

I think Ivey is overall the best all-around player in the world. Patrik Antonius is probably the only guy on par with Ivey. Then there are many very good players, who are better than Ivey in one particular game, but can't really beat him in HORSE or 8-game, like Tom 'Durr' Dwan.

I think hes got it right, when you look at where all the money goes in the nosebleeds these Ivey and PA are the major beneficiaries

Pokernoob IMO :). Strong pokerface!

Helmuth is the biggest fish on highstakes cg from the pros and an arrogant idiot to go along with that. All his money he ever won came from needling the egos of amateurs in big tourneys up to a point they couldnt handle his agonizing talk, minbets and minraises and gave away all his chips to him. I cant see him being a winning plr online on anything beyond NL200 where ppl simply toggle off a chat mode of donkeys.

Although he comes across as a wiener, Hellmuth gets a ton of respect from his peers for being one of the greatest tourney no limit players just as much as he doesn't get respect for his cash play. You can't really argue his tournament record... it is amazing.

He's not one of the best overall players... I still like him a lot for his tourney skills.

hellmuth is not the best tornement player. you couldn't compare him to pearljammer, shaundeeb or any of the other mtt online kings, who have unbelievable knowledge of mtt strategy. Hellmuth cudnt beat a $4.40 180 imo. He played in a hayday of total donks where being an abc nit ensured survival in those tornies. When was the last time he won anything? 2years ago? its been 2years since players really started improving. Check Elky's recent results and really see how you crush todays mtts online and off.

phil helmuth Owns live MTTs when he plays vs donks (which you almost always do in live MTTs).

aside from that AJKHooser1 or Moorman1 imo (mtt wise)
