Have been playing few tournaments and finaltabled for the first time in double stack cashout tournament 5.5$ and shiped it for 900$ so my br went from 400$ to 1300$ in one night.

I´m still shaking after the finaltable. Got lucky once when i sucked out with AKs vs 88 when the board double paired.

I felt confident about my play the whole time was restealing and stealing at the right time.

Also I´m feeling excellent about my heads up play. I rolled over him in few hands. He got a bit unlucky. I had raised to 2.5 bb last two hands and he had folded and when i got aces he decided to play back with A3o and reraised. I thought about it for a while and decided that direct push would look weaker than flatting. He called and I ship it for 900$. I was 2:1 in chips before this hand so this is not all pure luck.

I´m so excited

Been trying Rush poker on Fulltilt and like it alot. Lost few bi (3-4) though but i´m getting the hang of it. I´m switching to bss because sss is no longer available on FT and have been playing nl10. Thinking about cahing out 650$ for ps3 and reward myself then i have 650$ left for bss nl25. Any thought about that

Played 3.6k hands on NL25 today and ran horrible. lost 130$ but was running 100$ under ev. Nearly all hands where played on Rush tables two tabling. Went through the handhistory and checked all the big loosing ones. Found two AI that some tilt was involved. Maybe I should switch back to normal tables. There are though very big fishes on rush. Stacked one fish for 100bb, flop was 835r and i had 88 I raised he reraised, I went all in and he called with 99. Amazing!

was getting very close to 1400$ but i´m down to 1287$. No big deal, I also have invested few buck last few days in stakes for others. There´s very high variance there so i´m using pretty save br there. I´m down there about 53$.

All in all, i´m getting comfortable on nl25, not money scared like I use too. I have to learn how to fold aces better. Think I will read the article again about how to play overpairs. I have to improve and beat this level better.

My goals now are:
Reading one articel and watch one video per day that i´m not working
Post at least one hand after long sessions
Play normal tables, max 4 tables

I´m going to post updates every day about what article I was reading.

I withdraw almost all of my br week ago went from 1.4k to 200$. I´m building new computer that I can grind on and to play some games. Started playing nl10 again.

Went little bit over my br and decided to play Daily double on FT for 24$. I went out in 500 (not ITM) in A but finished 4th in B for 700$ so my BR is back to 900$. I was chip leader when we entered the FT lost two flips and made one stupid call.
Had 77 in the sb and pushed and got called by AQo the board got two pair so he won with ace kicker. The other hand was A4 vs KT, he hit his T on the river. 1st was 2.2k so I was pretty pissed yesterday to not ship it. But i´m pretty happy today.

Very well done, congrats. Lately haven't been shipping anything, I think I'll steal some luck off you :f_p:

Hey Orvara,

I just found your blog, where abouts do you live? I live in Akureyri, it's good to see an Icelandic blog!

Congrats on the MTT successes
