While the storyline was rather poor, there are many amazing details in the movie. They spent some seriously retarded amounts of time with the biology and evolution of the place. Looking at the credits (which are stupidly long) I guess they spent about 99,5% of the time conceiving desining and creating the enviroment and 0,5% of the time on the story.

I still ended up grinning at the screen for the first hour, the second hour and a half I ended up trying to observe the details of the place ... I'd agree with the 9/10 rate, purely for the WWWWOOOOOOOWWWWWWW factor though.

Watch 2012!

because i saw it earlier (rip) than 3D (yes i saw it twice, second time with friend of mine) second time watching i was focused on details instead of story line, in many places i saw poor 2d video in the background, where it should look awesome in 3d. Also i was sitting in forth row in the middle so focusing most of the time was rather poor, also its a long movie so after it my eyes wasn't happy. To get best satisfaction about it i can recommend to get a HD or blueray quality, 5.1 surround system, bigger tv or monitor, comfortable couch, evening and gf/bf by your side, nothing more nothing less. It may be a good movie in 3D if you like such movies as lord of the rings and you're not tech person (i mean studying/working something with IT or media) otherwise there is too much bugs in it despite of small but beautiful details where you should be watching.

She was so annoying in Lost that the writers had to kill her after a couple of episodes by popular request.

That cut scene just proves to me how overrated this movie really is , i enjoyed the cut scene probably more then the movie itself too bad it wasnt originally meant as a comedy then it might turned out ok...
