Yap, i absolutly like the check behind in this case.

The Value Bet on the River is always an interesting question.

But ask yourself which weaker hand would still call a bet here but how many better hands will try to trap you here.

A lot of people would just see the trips here and would bet without thinking but you did the right thing with that check behind here. Especially because it gets very hard to fold them here against a check raise.

The two of hearts is a really bad card for us so check behind is the smartest move.

Best regards,
Stefan

is it a value bet if the heart doesn't make the straight possible as well?

on this limit they are playing vvery weakbut you might be right (and I may found a leak ^^)

Ahh no you did not find a leak.

I was to much influenced by the results posted there.

Easy value bet on the river.

There are so many weaker hands that will call here. A high and every Pocket Pair.

Best regards,
Stefan

well i would not be too much afraid of a straight here, the 3-bet preflop indicates other hands than the needed A3! But everything is possible ...

The way I see it you should've made it more expensive for him on the turn. Making a big bet there mostly makes you win the pot without having to see a river.

You want to check behind the turn???

I bet he thinks that this is NL ;)

I think so too,

anyway just to avoid confusion... in this Fixed Limit game this is a very easy decision to bet the turn!

@matti2k
If you want to i can make some mathematical calculations for you to show you that it is better to bet the turn here. But like cirith said i think you mixed it up with NL.

haha yeah I did :) btw when will the pp be updated? because i have 1k+ and it still says 458
