My feel was that UTG+1 is just trying to pick this pot up after the checks. So i think we have a lot of FEQ with the check raise. And even if he has a hand, we have outs.

Pot odds are about 1:2.5. I think our outs should be clean. So it should be good enough to draw to the straight anyway, even without FEQ.

Except the last part about odds... if villain shoved directly we have a snapfold so...

i think i made a mistake in the Pot Odds calculation.

Assuming villain shoved, Pot is 2,340 effectively. We need to call 1,540. So about 1.5:1 only. Not enough to draw. So same should apply to us shoving. But add in the massive FEQ+extra 500 chips, we will be good with a check-raise.

It makes it easier if you don't use ratios. Use percentages. So assume villain shoves for 1540 on the flop. If we then call him the pot will be 1540*2 + 800 = 3880. We thus need 1540/3880 = 0.397 or 39.7% equity against his range in order to call. There is no way to confuse that one
