So here's the and, that i have been analyzing for a while. About villan, he is reg with stats 31/11/2.4 (vpip/pfr/3-bet) on over 300 hands. So just question is about my raise to his donk bet. His donkbet% was high, so i thought that i will raise small, to get more value out of this hand. River all-in is ok?

I would raise more preflop, other than that, I play the hand the same.

at 10/20 i would raise 4BB+1 per limper So 80 preflop. Exept from that well played. (i bet 3bb+1 preflop at 15/30 though)

Yeah, needed to be a lot more aggressive, you want him to be put on a decision as early as possible so I would say bet more preflop and that might make him more aware that you have a better hand.

On the flop you basically have to put him on a tougher decision and make him risk more of his stack, I know it was real early but that kind of aggression could have forced him off. When you bet 120, that's 300 chips in the pot, and only 80 for him to call, you need to worsen his pot odds basically.

You were in a tough spot with the read from him and he did get lucky, but more aggression would have been better and if he'd still called when then that's bad play by him and unlucky for you. As it was I think you invited him on too much.

thanks for replies.

But if i re-raise his donk on flop for example 240 chips, i can scare him of, but my aim with aces is to get more chips from him. What could be best abount for my re-raise?

I disagree with drdrab. If you make big preflop raises when you have Aces, which you shouldn't do with any other hand(exept for maybe QQ, KK, AK). Then people will really notice that and you definetly won't get payed off.

I think you played the hand good. And i wouldn't reraise more then you did, you want to keep players in the pot while still getting alot of value. You want to get them all in not make them fold their bad hand. If they have a strong hand and believe they got the best they would go all in anyway.

You just got sucked out on, nothing more and nothing less. He was obviously a fish because he bets very weak on flop and then also calls your reraise.

p.s. Betsizing is imo the biggest tell in online poker. So it's better to be consistent wether you have a monster or are bluffing. Alot of people usualy bet more or bet less when they bluff, and when i'm 4 tabling i will really pick up on that very quickly.

I don't like this reasoning. I think at this really low blind level we should be raising to 100. Even though it's 5bb here, the fish are going to to call <100 practically with their limping range. They don't think "omg he open raised 5bb, he must have AA, better fold my Ax or lower pocket pairs which I had been planning on shoving preflop or donking off on any flop" especially when it's this early in the tournament and they couldn't have any reads on us. 3bb/4bb is such a miniscule portion of the starting stack at this blind level and 99% of the time the fish are just going to play their hand and not pay any attention to us. I think you give them more credit than they're worth, hahaownedlolz.

Well it depends on what is more. 60 or 100 not a big difference, especially at these low blinds it won't be suspicous. What i meant is you shouldn't raise 80 preflop normally and then suddenly raise 160+ preflop. At these low blind levels it won't matter much since they don't see how much you normally raise yet. So they will probably call the same hands if you bet 80 or 100. Just saying you shouldn't go crazy with your bet sizes because you got AA and bet like 200 preflop.

Or for a better example. blinds at 25/50 and you always raise 150 preflop and then you suddenly raise 250+, That is a big red flag to me saying you got a monster and want to get it all in preflop.

Just saying you should be consistent with bet sizing as when i played HU sng and you always bet more or less with a certain hand and i pick up on it. Then you better pray for a big suck out or your going to lose that game because i will abuse that and will know when to fold and when to be agressive.

Ok, this is true. But I don't think that's what drdrab was suggesting in his post. At this blind level I think we should be raising 5bb+1/limper preflop with all the starting hands we play and not just with AA.

raise to 4x at lvl 20.

as played:

raise flop a little more and raise turn a little more.

apart from that nh wp
