CO was tag - 100% steal.
BU seemed laggish, playing quite a few hands. Seemed pretty high aggro too.

My thoughts were like CO who steals a lot has v.wide range here - also stack size means he won't want to call off light. And laggish BU would of 3betted i think if he had a good hand.

But should I try it here - or should I call and try to spike a set (even tho my implieds are not too great since there ranges are wide) and just save squeezing for hands like Ax which have blockers to big hands but are easy to 3bet/fold.

Can I call it off here too?

fold it preflop imo.

It should have been folded when the Button called really, I know they are late giving them a wider range but with 4's you have so little room to manouvre.

I would have folded because you're playing over 10% of your stack to call and your praying on trips, it just isn't worth it when you are in early position especially when you have that read on the button.

Bad play by the CO if he has a LAG on his left too.

You're also in pretty good shape in terms of chips too so really at that stage you need to tighten up your range and let players eliminate each other.

fold pre. its just not good enough.

77-88 would be the minimum vs a wide steal range.

the BU call means we should be pushing more hands due to the overlay in the pot and the call indicates weakness.

also you should never raise 1/2 your stack and fold. if you want to get it in just shove. and if you are thinking about raising 1/2 your stack then folding its just better to fold pre flop and stay out of trouble.
