That´s true also! But you have to have the discipline to bet/fold on turn
on the other hand I don´t think my line is much worse.. I miss some value on turn against draws, but they may try to bluff on river. (and in case they improve on river, I lose only small pots on river. You may happen to pay them off on river if you bet turn and they improve river and bet small).
Against set they will usually bet river, so I lose just small pots. And I managed to avoid loss of money by betting turn. And as a bonus I saw the showdown.. (in your line there is also danger they call turn and bet river, again you lose some additional money)
And against air / total bluffs it is definitely more value for me to check turn since they may bluff-bet river whereas they would fold to my bet on turn.
NOT BAD OPTION, JUST CHECK THE TURN and ALWAYS CALL RIVER ---> SO EASY, NO RISK, BLUFF INDUCE, POT CONTROL, LOT OF EQUITY.
By betting turn I agree that you may win more. But you can also lose a lot (may be less than you can win). If played well, your line may be slightly better in terms of overall equity (agreed with you), but it is surely more dangerous (you can make wrong decision on turn which is very expensive / and you may happen to pay off better hands on river).
I just wanted to mention my safer line as a feasible option. It is definitely not mistake to play the safer line check turn in my view. (it may be still EV+ decision to check the turn and you eliminate risk. There are easier spots where you can win money more comfortably).
