I played quite a few rooms (Titan, Party, Everest, FTP, Stars, etc) Poker Stars is really the best and most stable, it also has the biggest table selection and the biggest membership, gotta love that.

It is also great for multi tabling their software its simply amazing, if you try to Multi Table on Titan you will find yourself into one big disappointment.

If you're a Cash Game player, Full-Tilt is the site for you.

If you're a S&G or MTT player, Pokerstars is the site for you.

It's really THAT simple!

I'd rather say if you are cash game player, you play pretty much anywhere and stars and tilt are the worst choices because of their though games.

For me, Stars.. Not really concerned about rakeback. And stars do give rewards with the VPP system. so not too bad i guess :)

Stars and party give rewards with the VPP system. Its really better than rakeback of other poker rooms. If u play a lot u receive almost 40% back.

I don't know about NL, but for FL players Stars are way better than FT. With stellars and FPPs spent in satellites even at 0.10/0.20 u get more back. As there are 9 players at FR tables at FT and 10 at Stars, u pay 10% more rake thats why 27% is not really 27%. And the level of competition at stars is much softer+ much more tables at any time. And BTW, if u don't have rakeback at FT, it just suxx, no matter NL or FL

you dont have to play a lot to get over 50% - depends on what you play and whats your style...

I dont play in stars very time but stars is better.

they don't have actualy rakeback.
as far as i know it's just something calculated against RB and u get cash back
i think i wrote this all wrong , sorry for my good english

If you play poker on any site just for rakeback than yuo should not play poker at all. Play poker to win some money, learn how to play and you will not ever need rakeback again. Do you have rakeback on LIVE POKER. NO!!!
So, as I said. PLAY POKER TO WIN!!!

honestly that above post is just rediculously stupid.... NO i dont play poker just for rakeback, but it is a NICE BONUS that WILL MAKE IT MORE ATTRACTIVE TO PLAY at any given site.... so yes, rakeback is important to me.

the fpp cashback thing stars has seems to be good i didnt even know about it when i made the thread

its like saying "do you eat food just because it tastes good? no u eat it to live, so stop asking for tasty food"

Or search all the other 100000 players.

No, stars is not soft. Any other site expept tilt is softer for micros.

lol stars have hard opponents.
go to some new poker room, then u will see what means soft opponents

Stars is softer than other sites if you can table select. It's pretty trivial to find 4-5 excellent NL10 tables on Stars. On other sites it can be hard to find even 4 decent ones.

I'm sure there are solid players on Stars at the micros, but its so easy to completely avoid them that its a moot point.

Explain yourself.

As far as I know, as a SNG player that is a platinumstar/goldstar (depends how much time do I play in that month), I earn 2-2.5 FPP for each VPP.
1$ entry fee = 5.5 VPPs.
Then, for example, Payed 100$ entry fee, I earn 1100-1375.
A very good rate for exchaning FPP for money is 62.5FPP=1$ (as in the 250k FPPs for 4000$ bonus).
Which means receiving 17.6$-22$. Or in other words, 17.6%-22% rakeback.
Plus, once a month (if I have the time), I play the turbo takedown which is a slight better way to turn your FPPs into money - but that's only 3K FPP.
Ofcourse there are the stellar rewards, and some freerolls but these are very small amounts. Plus the tournaments take much time.
Not to mension bronzestar-silverstar players.

So if I offered you a deal that to get 20k per annum all you had to do was breakeven on NL100 you would pass?
