So, as I said. PLAY POKER TO WIN!!!

So if I offered you a deal that to get 20k per annum all you had to do was breakeven on NL100 you would pass?

I would.

But supernova elite... Now, how about getting 130k/year for being breakeven on NL100 and playing 40-50h week.

@ Ansii: Even better. I think we both proved to Ignorica that you can make a lucrative income for not being a winner player ;). Although all this aside, I am in it to win it Igorica so you are not alone.

you dont have to play a lot to get over 50% - depends on what you play and whats your style...

Explain yourself.

As far as I know, as a SNG player that is a platinumstar/goldstar (depends how much time do I play in that month), I earn 2-2.5 FPP for each VPP.
1$ entry fee = 5.5 VPPs.
Then, for example, Payed 100$ entry fee, I earn 1100-1375.
A very good rate for exchaning FPP for money is 62.5FPP=1$ (as in the 250k FPPs for 4000$ bonus).
Which means receiving 17.6$-22$. Or in other words, 17.6%-22% rakeback.
Plus, once a month (if I have the time), I play the turbo takedown which is a slight better way to turn your FPPs into money - but that's only 3K FPP.
Ofcourse there are the stellar rewards, and some freerolls but these are very small amounts. Plus the tournaments take much time.
Not to mension bronzestar-silverstar players.

Yeah its pretty bad for low stakes players. And u get even less then that since u have to take 650$ at best since if u take any higher one you will never clear it anyhow since u need like 30k VPP for 4K bonus. Therefor you only get 0.013 for 1FPP. So for 1$ in rake you get 0.14$ back while you get 0.27$ back on fulltilt. You also wont earn more then 100$ from stellars as well.

Another thing to mention is that you get it back weekly on fulltilt while to get 650$ bonus on stars you'll have to wait like 5 months or more. And that weekly bonus on tilt is really great for begginers to avoid going broke :)

Ok listen and listen good.

I play on Stars and FTP. I mainly play on Stars though as that is my native room. FTP has improved a lot in the last year or so with a redesigned lobby and other cool features. Obviously rakeback is awesome too. FTP though has really bad graphics, they still use 2D graphics so when tables shrink when multitabling the cards and chips get distorted and the text is so small. I really like how FTP has a stand up feature so you can park next to fish. The widgets are handy but I find them distracting as its hard not to look at your mini cashier whilst playing. FTP is really unstable too and always crashes or doesnt save preferences sometimes.

Stars however is the biggest and best room for a reason. Firstly, they are the innovators that come up with all the cool technology and other rooms just follow. Yes they dont have rakeback, but I am silverstar I am on 50% rakeback because of my FDB, silverstar bonus and stellar rewards. I believe the tables are a lot softer than FTP because its bigger so more traffic so more fish.

For those who think Stars looks ugly, firstly there lobby is beautiful with the black and red theme. As for the tables, the default theme is ugly but the slick theme and the black them is awesome and really compliments the lobby well. There new adn improved note taking system is awesome and will only get better. They have the most tournaments and the biggest ones too.

FTP is like staying at the Hilton, Stars is like staying at the Bellagio.

ARGH!

What is the FDB ?
And if you are on 50% rakeback , Does it mean you get the money every month or only when you have enough VPP to redeem bonus ?

There's room for both FTP and Stars, what's the fuss ?(

As a low volume player playing mostly tournaments lately then Stars gets my current vote but FTP keep offering me easy to clear bonuses so I gotta play there too.

With regards to the rake on the micros, it's also worth pointing out that rake is only taken on a complete $ at Stars. So a $1.90 pot on Stars would see just 5c collected compared to 12-13c on FTP.

Ohh my mistake, must've been a recent change then. Doesn't really concern me anyway as I'm only playing cash games when there's bonus to be cleared which is mostly FTP.

I love stars, the stellar rewards, fpps, vpps and all that, plus you can just play FPP satellites and convert the tickets to T$.

What limits are you playing on ftp and how are those compared to ps?

Still only playing micros (5NL and 10NL) on FTP, the rake's around 7%. If you're asking how the play/players compare then I couldn't answer as I haven't played cash games on Stars for quite a while.

The best poker room.
So far I played on Everest, Cake, Absolute, Full Tilt, William Hill, Unibet and PokerStars has the best and fastest software.
Full Tilt also, but cards there are so ugly.
I don't now about the amount of fish because I am still one, no rakeback but good VIP program.
I don't think it would be bigest poker room if many wouldn't think it's the best.
