Hi guys, my first post here!

I've been trying to study the hands I have lost with and would welcome some feedback on this hand. On review I probably shouldn't of bet all in but I really didnt expect him to call with what he did and then suck out :(

A little background the guy Tip TopBoy was being pretty loose and making some bad bluffs up till now.

Thanks :)

I am no expert and I am sure that others will have better replies, but to my mind you were to aggressive.

2 pair is an okay hand, but it is a low 2 pair and on that board it could have been beaten many ways.

FLOP [Ad 4c 3d]

I would have been wary of a possible flush draw, possible straight draw, possible A4 or A3 especially with a loose player, and pocket 33 or 44!!!

I would have probably bet the pot (280) and reassessed on the turn.

TURN [Ad 4c 3d] [5h]

Not great 4 you - loose players love Ax so A2, A3, A4, A5 a real possibility, you could be in deep trouble. I would bet half pot (280) and see if he comes for the ride.

River is probably nothing to worry about, but your decision is real tricky now.

Low trips is a possibility
A3, A4, A5 a real possibility
A-5 straight possible.

All of which have you beat

I would err on the side of caution and bet 280 again and when he went all-in fold!!

You would still be in the game with over 2k chips left. :P

Thanks bud,

Yeah I had pretty much come to the same conclusion myself, the reason I went all in was he was frustrating me slightly and the one thing I didn't want him to do was suck out on the flush draw.

Thanks for the comments on possible hands that a loose player could be on, always good to consider! I will definitely bet smaller next time and not donk out all my chips lol.

Cheers...I will avoid the all in over bet when I want to protect my hand

in future pls convert the hand using a hand converter.

you should not be limping any hands at lvl80.

this is a fold pre-flop.

as played. 2-pair is very strong and you should raise and look to get it in on the flop.

When you say that I should fold preflop is that since it is early stages and I should be playing tight and leave suited connectors till later blind levels?

So would agree that I should of bet the pot size but if he went all in on the turn fold?

Thanks for your responses and I will convert my hands in future...cheers

you should not be limping suited connectors in a SnG at any point (except when completing from the SB).

And as the blinds get higher you need to always be raising if you want to play a hand, limping at mid-high blinds is a bad play.

2-pair is a very strong hand, you should not be folding it even on the turn.

I suggest you re-read over the bronze SnG articles to get a better understanding of solid SnG strategy :)

Raise please, don't go directly all-in. That makes him fold too many hands.
