The 1 outer bad beat can happen anytime but it's certainly not gonna happen all the time. Maths and probabilities (as said earlier in the thread) will prevail.
There's absolutely zero luck in bet sizing, calculating odds, putting known opponents on a range, knowing when known opponents have you beat, table selection, hand selection, sitting immediately to the left of Mr Aggro, playing within your BR etc etc
The problem is the only real long-term in statistics is infinity.
How long a 'short-term' spell of unluckiness lasts is about as long as a piece of string.
But yes, Jack is right.
All those things increase your chances but nothing can ever guarantee a win.

yes poker game is too the game of luck but if you don't work hard then only luck cant do any thing. So you have have to sit and play more and you will get enough experience then your luck will be with you and you will definitely start winning.
Yes, poker is all about luck, if one plays the cards. But it is all about skill, if one plays against the opponents.
Don't play against the cards, play against your opponents.
I read that luck is about 30% of poker - some are at the top and some at the bottom of luck. Most are evenly treated by fortune in the long run.

I'm trying to apply this to your opponent in the 72 hand. What mistakes did they make?
If your opponent could see your 72 preflop and calls you is it a mistake?
If they see 72 on the flop would they check or bet? Was it a mistake?
You made several mistakes and profited from it. I don't understand how the fundamental theorem applies here? Did you trade small mistakes for a big mistake by your opponent?

I wish these kinda threads where banned. It is proven that poker is not a luck game, its like EVERYTHING else in life, the one with more knowledge has an edge, it cant really be that hard to understand can it?

A piece of string is twice as long as it is from the middle to the end so as poker players all we have to do is stretch the string on the second half. Win lots when your running good, Loose little when your running bad Thats not difficult
