[Closed] NL600 SH Unsure whether to 4bet with KK

I don't like your coldcall oop.
First: He looks superstrong.
Second: Villain can make less mistakes.

I'd just cold4-bet to 185$ and taking the dead money.
If he has something like a pocketpair he can play perfectly against you if you just call preflop.

Let's see what the judges think.

I'm pretty much with Anin here. There's some more things to keep in mind:
- balance: you'll never show up with a marginal hand flatting such a big 3bet oop with a marginal hand and even if you say, balancing to be unimportant against one particular guy, I fairly believe any reasonable villain on the stakes will directly notice your play

- you don't give your opponents room for mistakes: all of them have easy oddsplay preflop, thus, as anin mentioned, they'll adjust perfectly onto your move.

- you should be 4b/f here as bluff sometimes, thus balancing your range with monster obviously.

- if you believe him to 3bet light, why shouldnt he believe you to be 4betting light and get it in with worse hands? Besides, the dead-money is reason enough to just 4bet instead of call.

- last but not least: if you claim to not have been active, your flat oop looks by far stronger than a standard play like a flat 4bet, which you might eventually throw in knowing the image you had during the last hands.

Given his big raisesize Preflop, I would assume he is more likely to stack off against your cold 4bet but on the other hand it would look very strong as you said and he might well fold QQ or AK if you don't have any aggressive dynamic going on with him.

I totally understand your arguments for calling here and if you don't have any history he might still put TT,JJ,AK in your range, although he should strongly discount these combos given the positions and such. Still balance will not be an issue without history and if we just flat, he will still be in quite a few trouble spots with the air part of his range and also valuetown himself with his stronger holdings on certain board texture. For these reasons I don't mind the Flatcall that much, just don't forget to 4bet this hand as well on occasion

Postflop is standard obviously.

esp at the start of a session this is preferable esp to build up tricky image and ppl will give just rly a ton of credit to such c4bet vs utg/co. standard reg utg is folding even JJ there w no meta more often than not
