no real reads on villain

note: bb is almost all in

preflop 3 bet(if we 3bet what is best 3bet size cos bb is call 100% giving better odds to villain) or flat? is shoving even an option? ARE WE EVER FOLDING IF VILLAIN 4BET SHOVES PREFLOP??

flop C bet or check behind? side pot is 22k

As the MP guy has a really big stack it is a really tough decision. Either the villain holds a pocket pair or Ax (cant say anything about his range). People with really big stacks tend to be like vulures in a later stages.
Checking is absolutely wrong as he might give you hell after turn. As from my experience you will have a hard time to convince the villain to fold as he already put in quite some chips so my line would be either a AI shove (semi-bluff) or to bet like 2/3 - 1/1 pot...
Cheapest option is to just check and see the turn for free - but I wouldn't want to do that...

b/f flop
players aren´t really mess around too much especially when one player is all-in and I think you very often either going to take pot down with flop c-bet or turn barrel.

why should we bet flop, he will check/shove any PP and maybe some flush draw so whats the point in betting, what r we representing here jj+? and why we should barrel turn if we dont improve and he calls our Cbet
what range do u think villain have, and what better hands do u thing will fold and what worse hands will call/or not bluf shove when we bet out of that range?

shove for 3 times pot? never ever! u only get called by hands that have u crushed and i don't think you'll fold out too many hands beating you. shove would just scream "pls dont call me" risk/reward... not good imo ;)

imo a check behind is not too bad... while it is true that big stacks like pushing the shorter ones around, i don't think this risk is too great in this spot. first, u are one of the two stacks at the table that can actually hurt him and secondly he's out of position vs a pf 3beter. not the best spot in the world to get crazy. for sure, if he has something, he'll let u know at the turn, but i think you'll fold the worse hand most of the time

B/F is also very reasonable u can fold out lots ot hands like QJs and stuff which have outs against you. i think he's not bluff c/r u here a lot, also he'll have to show his hand ;)

edit:

I'd take the b/f for like 29k

preflop
I just call AK IP after a raise
I have posi and his raising range is much bigger then his raise/call range
and the playabilty is good

as played
I whould checkbehind
He wont fold a better hand and dont call a weaker hand ...
on turn I whould most time fold again a bet, because 95% of the player just bet a better hand then A high
(if turn is K or A, we calldown/valuebet on river)

I gonna downcall this
KK is unprobable, becuase we allready have 2 K
just AA have u beat

most times he will shove AK, for split pot ... if he bets turns and river

so I downcall this, becuase I see just one better hand and soon weaker ones

I think u will have easy call on the river cause he certainly can valuebet worse Kx. Since u 3bet small he probably calls with most of his raising range(it must be very wide) which includes KT-KQ. Some reads will be very useful but at least u can OPR the guy and see his stats. If he is losing player it will confirm my thoughts he is more calling stationy and probably doesn't fold to a small 3bet anyway.

I might cbet this flop cause if we check he is probably betting a lot on the turn with the existing side pot which we will have hard time calling and we can define better his range. So one more reason to make easy call down on K turn.

If it is a cooler...nothing u can do _biggrin:
