Hmm it's a very obvious play but I'd still raise on the turn.
I think there's not too much good that can happen by calling, you're basically looking to get value from good Jx and QQ+.

If the river brings the flush all of those will c/f, furthermore if the opponent bets you can only fold.
If it brings a J you won't win against QQ+ because they also usually c/f.
If it brings a 4 as you saw you have a problem as well, folding is probably the best option at this point.

So by calling the turn you'll only win money on blank rivers and additonally only vs his bluffcatchingrange whereas by raising on the turn you can potentially stack his valuerange.

As I said as played you probably have to fold the river, I doubt he's bluffing and you can't represent a 6 (you also don't have enough money left to be able to bluff effectively).
