You are dead against the K and there are a ton of Kx in buttons range. Even if mp3 is raising A2,A3 or mid pocket pairs and BU has a range of Kx hands or flushdraws you are in really bad shape.

yes! just under particular circumstances, you should continue on the flop. for example: both opponents have been quite aggressive but generally you should fold midpair to a 3bet on the flop, especially when you have just 2 outs to overtake the K. A3 is less badly to call than it is with a pocketpair, as you basically have 5 outs to improve.
