you could even bet like 300 on the turn to really keep him in the hand

As you played the hand I'm thinking you think he's the type of an opponent that will give us a free river card from time to time when we call flop here???
That makes your flop call really good..
and shoving the turn a better line than check/raising..

If you think he's shoving any turn card I'm playing this hand differently.. although I think calling is still good..

I think his small flop bet was of the "I wanna see where I'm at" kind, perhaps hitting a piece of the board, and his stats were something like 50/10, so I thought I'd be paid if I hit.


nh wp, you can underbet the turn to induce.
