Hi guys,

On this hand I was pretty confident I had the best hand but after the river bet I was kinda sure I was beat. Especially after facing that "lemme see how much I can get out of you" bet. Flushes are unlikely. Maybe KJ (?!!!) but mostly any suited Ace that hit two pair, AJ of course, and last but not least AK. I think those are all hands he could've called PF, although AK he'd most probably 3-bet.

Lemme know whatchu think.

He can have missed spades. I call here given how the hand has played out. But I just bet the turn myself to give myself an easier river decision (ie if he calls, check/evaluate the river, probably check/fold. If he raises turn, snapfold).

Isn't this (the turn) a good spot for pot control against a better hand ? Or exactly because of this it's better to bet and see where I am ? Yet again, I was thinking more like the better line could be check call river, all else as played ?

A few too many draws IMO. I think your heart is in the right place but I feel enough draws/combodraws peel the turn for us to just bet for value again. And because of the drawheavy nature we also get to see where we're at, in that a lot of the hands that beat us will raise our turn bet.
