can i call this river bet? i want play c/f turn.

i rather think that the CB means some showdownvalue with AT xQ but could also mean A2-A8. i dont expect him betting A9 but after your check on the river, you won't have the Q and neither a King as you would probably bet the K on the river, expecting to get called by maybe AT JJ but not getting raised by Qx. your opponent is almost unknown but has maniac tendencies though you just have collected 24 hands yet. questionable whether he could A2-A8 turn into a bluff or even 22-88 against x9 and xT that you are really likely to have. its certainly not a mistake to call the river against his wide range. it really depends on how unreasonable he is and whether he can also play CB with KT KQ and AK.

i discussed the hand with our german strategy moderator cjheigl. you might have heard about him and he confirmed that his range must be polarized on the river and the hands that he can valuebet are rare but his bluffhands, small PP's and A high are relatively frequent and so c/c turns out to be the best play. :)
