Cassava Poker $0.15/$0.30 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players - View hand 965102

BB: $32.23
UTG: $34.72
Hero (CO): $41.70
BTN: $19.91
SB: $30.32

Pre Flop: ($0.45) Hero is CO with K  Q :diamond:
UTG calls $0.30, Hero raises to $1.35, 2 folds, BB raises to $3.45, 2 folds

hands on villian : 99 hands : 14/9/2.5
wtsd : 14 w$sd : 100

seems like a typical TAG's 3bet OOP

what should i do when facing such an action ?

Hi,

I'd simply fold against that tagish/nitty villain according to his stats.
Sad, that you don't post his 3-bet stats.

Best regards,

fold kq to 3 bet 100% of the time....even to fishy players.....u basically never beat anything...and if you do you still dont have the lead in the pot and are relying on hitting on a monster flop....i play kq more as bluff than anything else

+1

There is no need to feel like you should of took this hand further, after the flop comes you never know if you're ahead or behind once he C-bets, whether you hit you're K or Q. It's just a marginal spot which you don't need to bother with.

thank you all for reassuring my decision to fold to this tag's 3bet

if player 3bets a lot then KQ is rather call than fold pf, but against nitty player it is clear fold

hm ok , so someone that 3bets a lot , probably 3bets light and KQ should be good against his range while a nitty player probably has KQ crushed something like QQ+ , AK , even AQs
