Thoughts or feelings?

I decided not to go because after the Afghanistan protests (which were nationwide and at times violent) nothing happened, so why would the government back down to smaller protests over something most of the nation doesn't feel as strongly about? That said, does look exciting :f_biggrin:

The violence of the protests will of course bring them more coverage, but does it discredit the cause?

Any predictions on whether the government will carry on with tuition fee rises (set to triple by 2012)?

Any predictions on the Lib Dem MPs' votes?

Look at that...all that anger. I totally feel for the students, but that show of violence is certainly not the right way to deal with the problem.

When I was in school ful time I would have never had time to go to a protest such as this one because I was working 30+h a week to pay for school. This tuition fees hike is just an example of whats to come after school.

This is what happens when u give conservatives too much power.
btw I think uni should be paid by the gov't: i dont care if u call me a socialist.
