how many hours do you play avg a day?

today 2k hands. but thats rly a lot for hu imo. just cuz i played hu only today and nothing else.

hours: rly depends. today had 3 hour coachings, studied some trading stuff for 2 hours and played ~ 6 hours. but rly depends. im sometimes also going into lockdown for 12 hours and sometimes dont play at all. depends on the rl action ;)

totally depends on the kind of trades. daytraders have many trades going but small edge i guess. some swingtraders will probably have higher ROI ... i dont care, i just wanna become rly good ... results will follow anyway

give me 6 months before pwning stock markets :f_p:

today's plo hu graph. 400-600

again, i has teh equitiiiiiies :f_grin:

100% baby :f_love:

hu plo is the game :f_love:

mr galfond would be proud if he saw me playing last days :f_grin:

playing on many sites atm and i get a lot of action cuz im sitting on many tables. today, i even had to play 5 tables hu vs 5 different opponents. all were pretty weak players and i couldnt decide what guy to quit ... so i just kept on playing all of those. after a while i busted 3 and could focus on the other 2 ... easy game :f_biggrin:
however, after this short (1 hour just or so) 5 tabling session i felt totally braindead ... insane how much info your brain has to process in plo _biggrin:

now analsing some hands before going back to tables.
here a hand vs a pretty abnormal maniac ... ofc, flop is great for me , but if i get in 200bb here, i could potentially be in very bad shape. since he pots 3 streets anyway, i decided to call down. river i just have 2pair, but vs him, i snapped mr. blockerplay like a pro monkey :f_cool:

for investment books, i will read the "intelligent investor" by Benjamin Graham in early 2011. all experts say, its a must read, so i will start with this one and go from there.

however, for now im focusing a bit more on trading. these are the first books i read besides some videos and online tutorials

"Trading for a Living" by Alexander Elder
"Come into my Trading Room" by Alexander Elder
"Das Trader Coaching" by Thomas Vittner (german)
"Die Tradinkakademie" by Thomas Vittner (german)

Larry Williams seems the nuts as well what i've seen so far from him. will check out more of his stuff soon i guess

I headsUp PlOmAhAhAhA

:f_love: that game. swing & tilt it to the top :f_grin: so far i didnt find one plr who didnt tilt monkeystyle after losing 2 or more buy-ins muahahah. when i lose 2 buy-ins vs sb, i just quit, even if he is a fish. just vs true illiterates i continue momentum is just so fkn crucial
today i got one guy on tiltlevel 9, it was epic. after every hand he asked me what i had. i always replied "2 pair" - even when he said "damn, have to fold top set here, sick" .... and i didnt show him hands, but everytime ii had 2 pair, i showed and ofc, wrote "2pair rocks" in chat hahahahh
one time towards the end of the match i showed him a pure bluff in 3b pot ip on paired board. he folced aces and i showed ..... well, long story short - the match was over 3 mins later due to bankroll bustaments :f_biggrin:

II Cake Poker and HEM

i have latest Cake and HEM version ... played ~ 800 hands plo hu last days there .... up 2622$ ..... but hem tells me something different :f_biggrin: 7500$ difference, wtf?! why's that? anybody any idea? on all other sites, hem works fine.

III Party Weekend

in Graz! 3 days party action with highstakes fl and nl plrs in graz starts tomorrow. wohoooooo :f_cool:
schedule: fifa11 & pes gaming + sidebetting, minigolf drinking games, clubbing, kart racing, bit of grinding maybe ....

afterwards, 3 days Klagenfurt for complete lockdown grinding mode, maybe one evening clubbing action as well tho ....
sunday last major night this year. again im going to stake some ppl and also playing myself ... one time baby! :f_grin:

now off to produce another part for my hu sng series, then watching a plo hu vid from mr. galfond.
will try to get some good sleep tonight, i expect some crazyness the next days

have to incorporate some of those moves into my weekend-clubbing-dance :f_biggrin:

I love momentum when I have it aswell I think it's vastly underestimated what the effects are in (usually short) matches versus fishes. I find myself quitting fishes aswell sometimes when it just doesn't work, there's always a next one.

There's been a problem with HEM since cake upgraded their software, they've been working on it for a while now and are "close to a resolution": http://forums.holdemmanager.com/poker-site-support/39444-cake-hand-history-problems.html

@TwiceT I am quite interested in how longterm PLO looks like. Wanna post a BB-Graph of your lifetime 6max PLO? I guess PLO HU graphs don't look a lot different than the NLHE ones, edge should kill the long stretches.

my hu swongs are smaller than my sh ones. but probably cuz i table select better in hu.
dont have lifetime plo graph, i just have overall lifetime $ graphs, but i dont post them :f_p:

but to give u an example of swings, here my november plo sh graph.
december i mostly played hu and i think next i year i will play way more hu and just sh if i dont feel in the right mental state for sick hu matches :f_grin:

short term swings are high just because stacks fly in every second. longterm tho, its not so bad. in the end, my graphs always goe from bottom left, to top right :f_love:
