Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Porneşte mâna

$0.25/$0.5 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (4 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J:s, J:h.
CO raises, BU folds, Hero 3-Bets, BB calls(All-In), CO calls.

Flop: (9 SB) J:d, 7:s, A:d (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero 3-Bets, CO calls.

Turn: (7.5 BB) K:s (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero 3-Bets, CO calls.

River: (13.5 BB) 5:c (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

Final Pot: 15.5 BB.

I think to check on the river. My opponent raised on the turn so he has something good. If I check on the river, maybe he will bet and I will raise... Is this a good ideea? What do you think?

why would he bet the river after he just called your turn 3bet instead of capping it. nice hand!

Yea usually its not a good idea to get tricky in spots where u show a ton of strength on flop and turn because its hard to see you doing anything but C/R or C/F on the brick river so any semi decent hand reader will check behind there.

you are right. It is stupid in this spot to try to check/raise.

I did this once but the situation was different: the opponent 3bet and I capped. I had the initiative and I checked oop. The fact that he 3bet on the turn told me that he has very good hand and he probably can't play check behind with that. I don't remember what I had - some kind of monster - nuts or second nuts.

But the situation was different. Now it is not 3betfrom him and cap from me. Now it's raise from him and 3bet from him.

Hi!

Well played. I would say that most likely hand he has there is Ax(probably AQ,AT) and if he has at least any brain he will check these behind since you either have a bluff or a monster which you want to c/r.The only other hand which would be somewhat reasonable is something like KJ but I dont think he raises that on the flop that often
