I was really unsure what line to take in this pot and think I made a bad call all in postflop but want some clarification.

Pacific Poker - $0.10 NL - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

UTG+1: $5.88
MP: $7.01
MP+1: $19.38
CO: $5.74
BTN: $9.59
SB: $2.09
Hero (BB): $12.13
UTG: $10.33

SB posts SB $0.05, Hero posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has 6♦ 5♥

UTG calls $0.10, fold, fold, fold, CO calls $0.10, fold, SB calls $0.05, Hero checks

Flop: ($0.40, 4 players) 5♠ 5♦ 7♦
SB checks, Hero bets $0.30, fold, fold, SB calls $0.30

I'm certainly not checking here due to flop texture. I'm ahead of and get called by top pairs, overpairs and draws. There are some better 5's and 77 that I'm behind to. I think Bet/call is my only option here.

Turn: ($1.00, 2 players) 4♦
SB bets $1.69, Hero calls $1.69

Bad card obviously, since it went check/call on the flop. It felt like he's shoving a vunerable flush tbh. But He could also do this with overpairs and a draw, top pair and a draw etc.

the equity required to call here should be as follows right?

1.69/2.69 = 0.62 X 100 = 62%

I put him on the following range : 44 - 99 (excl 55), any made flush (excluding those we would expect him to raise preflop eg AK-Td), AdXx, any 5X

I still have only 45% equity against his range if I have entered the details correctly into the equilator.

So I am still behind vs his range and even do not get the correct expressed odds against any made flush with 11 outs as I would need something like 3:1 on the turn.

I guess I should fold this spot then? I ended up nearly timing out so hit call as it wasnt that expensive overall, but I would hate to not know what to do in this spot for 100BB.

River: ($4.38, 2 players) J♣

SB shows Q♠ J♥ (Two Pair, Jacks and Fives) (PreFlop 63%, Flop 1%, Turn 0%)
Hero shows 6♦ 5♥ (Three of a Kind, Fives) (PreFlop 37%, Flop 99%, Turn 100%)
Hero wins $4.17

Hello muel294,

Equity needed: 1,69/(2,69+1,69) = 38,58%

Therefore it's an easy Call. :)

Best regards.
