[Closed] What to do when I'm beat at turn/river?

When my opponent re-raises me, and I have a pretty good feeling I'm beat..

Should I keep betting just to see if he re-raises me? Fold my hand? Or simply call down the river to see if he's bluffing?

I'm constantly calling down because of the pot odds, but sometimes I'm quite sure that it seems a waste to just give my opponents these extra bets..

My questions are:
Should I be folding?
Continually raising to see if my opponent will fold?

i don´t think its so easy to answer that question
the best thing to do is to post the hands (where you don´t know what to do) in the sample hands forum :)

As frzl already mentioned this is different for every single hand. :)

I think the only way to answer this without a specific hand example is...

If you're holding a hand which you believe MAY be good, then try to see a showdown in a large pot. In a large pot you may only need to win less than 1 in 10 times for it to be profitable. But, take care to ensure the pot is large enough to make a calldown worthwhile.

Don't forget trying for a free showdown at the right moment as well. Those extra saved bets can add up in the long run.

block bets are also VERY VERY useful. if your opponent doubts he has the nuts and you blockbet with say even a minbet... you can see a cheap showdown
