vs nit standard fold vs anyone else then not so standard and probably bad, folding QQ p/f isn't something special, you play your KK hand terrible too maybe you should look at some strategy articles? Why do you minraise preflop? You just make it harder to get the money in, you should be playing much much more aggressively, why are you c/c'ing turn? you want to be getting your $$$$$ in man. Also passive players are alw flatting JJ pre.

sorry, you are not playing massive pot against nit unless he have five of a kind. And wasn't expecting him to call, I am not that stupid to min raise with KK, I just don't know his call range, I was expecting for set, because I didn't see him raising at all, and that was reraise. So I didn't feel confident enought for value betting. Maybe it wasn't the best play, but I think it wasn't worst one, maybe you would have played beter. Dunno.

and I am really aggressive, too much I believe, I need to get more pasive and tighter. And there is not any articles or quizes I didn't pass for bronze, when I was silver I read those too.
he just do those check/fold things, once I minraise he auto fold, didn't do that now, dunno, this was so confusing.

Saruniks, you should listen more, and argue less, maybe you can see alot of mistakes in your hand like everyone else does.
You lost alot of value in the KK hand. If you like to look the hand for it result, let´s do that with the KK one.
You say the guy is a nit, and is playing lots of tables, and never minding you mocking him for the blinds, if you so sure about that, why didn´t you mini-raise every trash hand (in case that you got called with 25o) and do a normal raise with the hands with playabilite pos flop?
That´s one way of doing it, I think its not the best one anyway. But it´s way better than you played pf.
It´s not because the guy is a nit that he will not over play his Top pair and Over pair.
And without seeing the table I can´t agree with the first hand too.

thanks.

I gues you can't be right at poker, even when you fold QQ against AA you make mistake...

No, you can definitely be right, but it's not related to how things turned out. If you're holding AA and go broke on it preflop, you're always right, no matter how often you get sucked out by 24o (in cash games at least).

Why are you making a thread about this really?
I don't want to be mean but if you ever posted this on any other forums you would get destroyed and laughed at so hard.

sorry, won't post this anymore

was looking delete button 10 minutes ago, couldn't find, so I gues I just leave this. bye.

First hand - bad fold IMHO. As you said yourself, UTG's preflop raising range is 7 - this includes a bunch of hands that are beat by QQ. It is terrible to fold a hand like QQ only because someone before you put in a 3bet which gives the opportunity for original raisor to shove. If you are so sure that our "super-nit" is going broke only with AA/KK - at least call a 3bet and fold to a 4bet/shove. But the best thing to do I think is to apply 4bet/fold line here. Cold 4bet looks extremely strong and if you get a shove - you can fold if you are sure your opponent has AA/KK (but I still would go broke here unless I would have very specific reads).
And another thing is that this is 6max game, not full ring. Full ring is all about nitting, and in 6max people do some tricky things, even those "11/7" bitches ;) I've seen players like this do crazy and even stupid things so many times that I've already lost all my respect to them. What would you think if after you folded your QQ that nit would have showed JTs in his hand instead of AA? You would feel terribly, wouldn't you? :) So this is called a "results oriented thinking", and it is bad.

And the second hand is played good IMHO, just your preflop raise should be bigger. If your opponent calls a minraise (which he never does as you said), he's going to call a normal raise also. And when raising less, you lose value - and as we all know, value betting is probably the most important concept in succesful play in microstakes.

P.S. Villain's postflop play in the second hand is a good example of what I wanted to say in a second paragraph in my post :) I mean - setmine with JJ, then raise flop with middle pair - ftw? That doesn't look very nitty, does it? :)
