Nice post Marek, good to have you here.

First party in PI was pretty nice, need to work on my seducing skills tho :f_biggrin: because there was no easy money in this club. Only Korean reggirls.

I woke up at 7am and started grinding for 3h before the fishes were awake :f_eek:.

I'm slowly putting in some PLO sessions again but ofc mostly its still NLHE. Some interesting hand here vs a reg where I took an unconventional line again. I wanted to overbet river so bad and I think its a big mistake not doing so because he wouls snap with every ace :f_frown:. Oh, now he snapped as well :f_biggrin:

hey poeple, I took similar challenge like Jonas with "not leaving a room before 1k profit" I raked 1k bucks playing rush yesterday, so sick.. I was +1k on NL200 and then decided to pawn some nl400 regs as well and it turned bloody - I was running extremely bad and lost 1700$ in 2 hrs and it was 3am in the morning. So I decided not to go to bed until I am in profit on NL400 so sick.. Some interesting hands

1) reping ACES vs reg, I was thinking how to do it the best and realized that with Aces, I would only call flop and bet small to induce on turn.

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$1/$2 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Known players:
[tg]MP3$113.45:///////;CO$235.45:///////;BU (Hero)$242.80:///////;SB$215.80:///////;BB$595.50:///////;UTG1$201.00:///////;UTG2$262.20:///////;MP1$200.00:///////;MP2$257.85:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BU with 7:d, K:d.
4 folds, MP3 raises to $6.00, CO calls $6.00, Hero raises to $24.00, 3 folds, CO raises to $50.00, Hero calls $26.00.

Flop: ($109) 5:c, 3:s, 6:c (2 players)
CO bets $38.00, Hero calls $38.00.

Turn: ($185) 6:h (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $45.00, CO folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $185.

2) aggro plays during the night on NL400.. I don´t care what he has as he has to fold everything except of nut-flush.

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$2/$4 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Known players:
[tg]UTG2$420.00:///////;MP1$400.00:///////;MP2$761.90:///////;MP3$564.70:///////;CO (Hero)$1260.35:///////;BU$415.00:///////;SB$867.60:///////;BB$860.90:///////;UTG1$428.80:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8:h, T:h.
5 folds, Hero raises to $12.00, BU folds, SB raises to $44.00, BB folds, Hero calls $32.00.

Flop: ($92) 6:s, 7:s, Q:c (2 players)
SB bets $60.00, Hero calls $60.00.

Turn: ($212) 3:s (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $112.00, SB calls $112.00.

River: ($436) 4:h (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1,044.35(All-In), SB folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $436.

3) Bluff catching vs extremely aggro guy. He gave me a timing tell that he is on FD, as he was betting sooo quickly. I think with a set, he would play bit slower. And as he is polarized between sets and bluffs (he cant play overpair like this) and is aggro, I decided to call.

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$2/$4 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Known players:
[tg]UTG1$375.40:///////;UTG2$400.00:///////;MP1$287.70:///////;MP2 (Hero)$1226.30:///////;MP3$665.90:///////;CO$414.00:///////;BU$1358.00:///////;SB$396.00:///////;BB$400.00:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with J:d, A:c.
3 folds, Hero raises to $12.00, MP3 calls $12.00, 4 folds, 3 folds, 2 folds, BB folds.

Flop: ($30) 7:c, J:c, 8:h (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets $20.00, Hero calls $20.00.

Turn: ($70) 2:d (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets $80.00, Hero calls $80.00.

River: ($230) 5:d (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets $280.00, Hero calls $280.00.

Final Pot: $790.
Results follow:

MP3 shows high card queen(T:c Q:c).
Hero shows a pair of jacks(J:d A:c).

Hero wins with a pair of jacks(J:d A:c).

EDIT - I went to bet 8,32am with 92$ profit :f_love: :f_biggrin:

yeah, I don´t like going to bet with a feeling that I lost a fortune... I know it´s not ideal.. :f_eek: on the other hand as long as you are not tilting it is not that bad to set the goal as break even and play until you achieve it...

i dont wanna spam this great party/lifestyle blog with boring poker stuff, just my 2cents @ cornie (u dont get more advice in the future btw since i saw u playing 400 rush, which is one of the main games i play now whenever i dont have hu action going :f_p: ) when u play against me, i wont u to tilt everything off ofc :f_p:

setting $ goals on the outcome of sessions doesnt make any sense.

our whole poker career is one big session.

think about it ;)
