I found out about SSS because of this web site and I`m still in the learning process of this style.
It says to fold when you are in early position with AQ and AJ and others. I do fold them because I want to learn the strategy the good way, but I have to admit it is against my hearth, especially if they are suited. Does these hands loose that often? (I know flush draw is rare, but (K) kicker on a pair of aces when you have AQ seems also rare)

The short stack strategy is based on mathematical calculations as well as the experiences from a lot of players. To raise with AQ/AJ in early position means that you have to play them in a raised (or even reraised pot) out of position which is not recommendable with these drawing hands which can be easily dominated by better hands. In the long run you will lose money by playing them in early position. Hence we recommend to fold AQ/AJ here.
