Bad beats happens. It's important to recognize when you drawing dead however and get out of those hands asap. Although it's difficult u should never get committed in those situations this always leads to tilting and can ruin your bankroll. ♦

btw such a hand happend to me once in a tour. 3 players went allin and i had AA. i folded. a friend of mine didnt agree with my action and said : i have the best possible hand so if i have to , i will bring in all of my money.
needles to say, the flop gave QQ8 and the guy with AQ won.
With an almost 100% secure second place this is a pretty easy fold for me.
The more interesting question would be to fold AA in a 7 handed game with 4 players all in you on the button and the Blinds still to act.
Think I would call with As every day of the week but folding Ks and anything else

I haven't read all answers. If hero calls, the worst thing that could happen is that he will get second together with 3 other players. In this case he will get a little more than his buyin. Lets calculate heros equity with Equilator. in the worst case hero will have a 45% equity.
so in 55% he will get a little more than his buyin and in 45% he will win the sng.
EV (call) = 0,45 * 0,5 + 0,55 * 0,125
EV (call) = 0,225 + 0,068
EV (call) = 0,293
EV (call) = 29,3 % of the prizepool
EV (fold) = 0,34 (34% of the prizepool, incl. the chance of getting first)
Look I am not sure of payouts but normally 1st is double of 2nd...If you fold the hand then your chances of winning heads-up are almost non-existent because of his huge chip lead.
Vs a 50%+ chance of 1st with the consolation of a tie if you lose. I think CALLING is a no-brainer.

Its just mathematically unlikely. Yes obviously you can win if you are better than your opponent but I thought this was a purely mathematical question...If you are a heads up god fold.
Since I would play for the first place and sometimes pot are splitted, so I would take the chance and my money in, even if most of the times my hand doesn´t win. But if somehow I win, then I´m gonna probably win the tournament thanks to huge chip lead^^
Insta-call if we have 4k chips or more. It is more +EV than folding. Not much...but every edge counts.
As a rule of thumb, i have never folded AA preflop and have been playing 3-4 years.
Have only folded KK twice, and doubt i'd fold it here either.
This situation will never happen that many times that we can talk about +EV or -EV statistically so to cut the story easy fold

I would of course call, because considering that a call or a fold are almost equivalent in EV, if we lose we will juste start a new sng, and winning a lot of time. Winrate says me to call.
If i had 3999 i would fold i think, because there must be Aces-X so i would be drawing dead for a top set, and in such a multiway pot i have trouble with only an overpair (i'm not really lucky i guess)

And knowing my luck I'd scream when 2 players turn over KK, the other 2 turn over QQ, and the flop is AAx.
