I am not sure why you bet on the flop. There aren't many draws, and you aren't going to get a lot of value from weaker hands or get stronger hands to fold. It is often ok to check TPWK from the blinds. If the flop is checked through, then a broadway card on the turn can give someone a second-best hand which will pay you off.
Folding on the river is reasonable. The UTG player must have had something to call on the flop without being last to act. You don't play a kicker, and you lose to A2, A4, AT, AJ, AQ, and AK. You need much better odds to call with the hope of splitting than to call to win.

although as played I think we are selling a nice story betting turn as well.. A2, AT+ 2x and TT are the only hands beating us now.. and I think we might get bunch of the aces we are splitting against too fold.. and we'll fold if he shows resistance which he will only do with 2x imo.
