Ok, I see that there are many interesting thoughts about this topic. So, I will try to explain more accuratelly what I meant.
At the moment I play poker at PartyPoker Room, but I deposited there only 500$ from my entire bankroll. The rest is on Moneybookers Account and Bank Account. I consider all that funds as my bankroll, not only funds currently at PartyPoker. In addition, someone could have funds (intented to play poker or poker earnings) on several poker rooms, several e-wallets and several bank accounts. IMO, all those funds should be considered as poker bankroll and you have to be aware of total sum of them.
Furthermore, I withdraw some funds from my Bank Account (which are my poker earnings) from time to time, and I want to be aware of how much money left in my poker bankroll. Also, I make trasfers from Moneybookers to Bank Account, from Moneybookers to poker rooms and vice versa, etc. I want to be aware of those transactions, too. I also want to record my sessions (when I play, what I play, how much did I earn/lost etc..). I also want to track my bonuses, rakeback and rewards earned (they increase my bankroll). In abstract, I want to have all that in one place to manage my poker bankroll better, and also see some statystics, graphs..
I didn't find any application (nor web site) which could provide something like that. With Holdem Manager and similar applications you track your sessions, earnings etc., not your entire bankroll. Sites like Poker Junkie don't offer all that, either. As companies use accounting softwares for tracking all their assets, I want to have something to track my entire bankroll.
But when he wanted to count money in bank accounts in poker money, he's most likely not working yet, probably student.
I was thinking on money in bank accounts you have for playing poker or which you earned playing poker. You shouldn't count all your money in bank accounts as poker bankroll, for sure. ♦ It will be ideally to have separate bank account just for your bankroll to simplify things (I have it, for example). But if you don't have it, you just count money for playing poker as a part of your bankroll. And yes, I am not working yet, I graduated from the university few months ago.. ♦
