I don't think this is a dry board. There is a flushdraw out there...?!
Good luck at the tables!

Easy fold.
or he has set. or has A :diamond:x ![]()
you only invested 7BB. if you see him do this more later on (coldcalling you in position, raising you flop.) you can stack him later with a hand.

I agree here, It's maybe kind of a weak play but I'm a "Sissy"♦
If he's from Germany I fold, if he's from Ireland (sorry Irish people
) I push. I think most villains would 3-bet pf with pockets to CO's openraise and tbh the flop raise looks weak to me.. But I think I like to variate my play in this kind of situations. Sometimes I might fold it if I just joined the table, sometimes I might push it if I think he has a flushdraw and sometimes I might call it and play check/raise on turn if the flushdraw doesn't complete.
Only 13% were correct here:
We raise with AK and get a caller. We are out of position for the rest of the hand, make a continuation bet because we don't want to give a freecard for possible flush draws. Now we get raised.
What are the options? First of all we should analyze the board. An ace appears and we have TPTK which is good. Besides that two
are on the board which means a flushdraw is possible. If our opponent has 56 he has an open ended straight draw.
Let's have a look at the options:
Call:
We can call here. The disadvantage is that the pot on the turn is relatively big. A
kills the action or gives our opponent the best hand. The problem is that we have to hope for a non
turn. In 4 of 5 cases no
will appear, but it won't be easier to go on with the hand. If our opponent is on a bluff we don't scare him away. If he fires a second barrel we don't know more than before.
Fold:
Of course you can fold but that only makes sense against very passive opponents. To fold against a normal opponent seems to be pretty weak.
Reraise:
If we reraise we still have the initiative. We don't give away a cheap card for drawing hands and a player with a draw has to decide whether he wants to go on with the hand or not. But it is disadvantegous that we will go broke against a two pair or set.
So, what do we do? It's difficult to say. In such situations we will have high variance. We could call and check/raise the turn. We can reraise and call a push or we fold. My favourite is reraise. We arebeating AQ/AJ and worse aces which our opponent can easily hold. Two pair is unlikely, but there are a lot of draws out there. Against a set we are going broke but we will get the whole stack of the opponents as well if we have the set in this case. In addition we can play a big draw, top pair top kicker and a set completely the same which makes us unreadable.
Since I play very aggressive, a very good opponent or also a fish will go all-in with AQ here often enough. What is even more important: If we call the pot on the turn is big and we cannot think about pot control or bet/fold. If we call, we will go all the way anyway. Thats why it is important to get the money already in on the flop because we have the biggest equity against hands which we are dominating. Also against sets we have more equity than on the turn where we can already be drawing dead.
I voted re-raise, but all-in sounds quite the same to me.
We have AK preflop, we raise hoping to hit either A or K. We hit, our hand gave us what we wanted. If he has flushdraw we are ahead. If he has a set/double pair, okay well, he won.
Top pair top kicker for us. He reraised us with not a lot of hands that beats us (AA, 77, 44, A7, A4 or 74lol, plus possible monster-draws).
Moreover, we bet on the flop, and our opponent might think of it as a c-bet.
Definitely, my objective is go for all-in with as much money in the pot as possible (that's why i chose re-raise instead of all-in, i would chose a adapted reraise to bring money in and then having him pot committed on the turn if he calls, but the logic of it may be crap, as i completely loose fold equity).
