and i would consider just calling PF if he's very tight stealer, but he's probably not so nh IMO

postflop: completly fine and standard. bet, bet, shove is the best line here.

Agree: postflop is std. Flop bet looks fine, though if he is looser and may have more drawing hands, you could be a little more.

I prolly call for set value if he is very tight (i.e. virtually no diff between button range and other positions) or just fold since we cant play 22 oop vs his calling range on average in a 3b pot (and if we are just 3b as bluff we may as well pick s/th with more playability).

Thanks for the answers all, that is what I was hoping to hear. Things haven't been going so great lately so I have been worrying that I might be doing something terribly wrong. ♦

Regarding preflop, I mostly just 3-bet small pockets or fold because most people are stealing very wide and folding a lot, whereas hardly anyone is playing so tight that you can call for set value alone and playing OOP with an underpair just sucks.

Agree about postflop, bet/bet/bet is definitely by far the best line. There are not many hands in his riverrange that he's gonna bluff with.
By checking you just give free showdowns to all his medium strength hands - even if he folds them most of the time it's ok, he's never betting himself.

About preflop you can argue.
I'm also either 3betting or folding small pocket pairs - I think with 22-55 or even 66 you can just fold unless you have some reads that the opponent is folding extremely often postflop.
Those small pairs are just so difficult to play because you have an underpair to the board almost 90% of the time.
This means no potequity and therefore no opportunities for several barrels.
