Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $1(BB) Replayer
Hero ($113)
BB ($39.35)
UTG ($100)
UTG+1 ($758)
CO ($126)
BTN ($100)

Dealt to Hero 7♥ 8♥

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to $3, Hero calls $2.50, fold

FLOP ($7) 2♥ 7♦ 6♥

Hero checks, BTN bets $4, Hero raises to $12, BTN raises to $32, Hero raises to $110 (AI), BTN calls $65.50 (AI)

villain 20/16/3, wts 53, 204 hands. Steal from bu 61% (13), Cbet 75%. Fold vs 3b 67%

Given loose steal and high cbet, I think this is an ideal opponent to call oop with intent to mess with post flop (i.e. ch/R virtually any flop and barrel a lot of turns).

Only just noticed v high wts. I guess that this makes him a bad candidate after all as he is likely not folding as much as he "should be"?

Anyway, we hit the best possible flop for our hand and ch/R broke looks about right to me. Anything in villains stats that should make us lean towards just flatting tp+fd on flop?

I presume once we are 3b we have a shove or fold decision, with folding not an option?

thx

we have sick amt of equity here really. two pair+flush+trips+bd straight.
so it's like 3+2+9+1=15.
i'm always trying to get my $ in on the flop especially when i'm OOP. it will be extremely hard to play if we just flat here.

Thanks, Rio. Villain had KK - what do you think of his play? Std to get in BU vs SB on drawy bd or should he flat my ch/R since he is rarely better than flipping when $ go in?

I generally don't like the call preflop. Those suited connectors don't really have implieds when we're OOP and there's even a guy left to act.
I might call if BB was a fish and had a full stack, but here I think since he only has 40BB we should be very inclined to just muck the hand.

As played a c/r for value is mandatory and after that we're committed:
board: 7d6h2h
Hand Equity Wins Ties
8h7h 47.37% 13,131 0
66,77,jj,qq,kk,aa 52.63% 14,589 0
