I think it would be a really nice idea if there was more gifts on the way to black membership, something free at 200,000 strategy points or something. I think the site has less to offer the more rake you produce as there aren´t that many mid stakes+ videos so most people are probably using other sites for those.

I agree with this... after someone reaches diamond there aren't really any more milestones to reach on this site...
Giving a hoodie at 200k lifetime points would probably benefit everyone in the long run...
You would be surprised how many accounts would prefer staying with pokerstrategy as their affiliate just to get a free hoodie =)

+1

The design is pretty clearly "inspired" by later-period Maori carvings, so if it's not produced somewhere in New Zealand then it's likely a fairly cynical expropriation of indigenous art. Nice design otherwise.

When I first saw it I was thinking it looks a bit like a tiki

In art it's a fine line between inspiration and expropriation/plagarism. Just ask the funky drummer, or William Shakespeare. Sometimes we humans like to find reasons to see the negative in something, rather than appreciating it at face value. For mine, that t-shirt design looks a bit fugly - but I'm old and have a pathological dislike of spades. 0.o

Ah, but I was appreciating it at face-value AND seeing the negative, so you can't be talking to me. Which means I'm talking to myself. As usual. (Which makes sense because I disagree with my first post.)

Art should stir the creator's emotions and be blind to money (otherwise some might call it pornography - not that there's anything wrong with that). Losing money is best, as an indigent artist is above suspicion; a martyred one is assuredly innocent.

I'm not sure what you meant about Shakespeare, but a quick search unearthed Sonnet 76 which is about his own lack of originality - modest chap.

Just so long as no one expropriates early-period Maori art - I want to be the one to make all the dosh from that.

Yes, this post is confused and confusing.

Was anyone trying to say that pornography isn't art in this thread??!?!?!?
