I'm close to 15K hands, so as I promised myself I will be making a review of my play. Here it is
1) Graphs and BR status
My overall graph:

Graph of last 10k hands:

Graph of showdown/non showdown winnings (yuck):

Bankroll update:
Hands: 14632
Bankroll: 224.84$
Level: NL10 - Buyin for 4$
Buyins: 56
Things are starting to get a little better, but still not great
My BB/100 for NL10 is 2.38 - which isn't too good but at least I'm in the black.
2) Winnings by position
(From this point on, all stats will be filtered for the last 10k hands, since I made some adjustments after my first 5k.)
Winnings by position:

Nothing really surprising I think. My most profitable position is the button, followed by the cutoff, which is to be expected. I’m not winning much from the middle position, and it seems like I’m playing too loose from this position since my W$SD% is 46.3. I’ll try playing a little tighter and see how that works out in the next 10k hands.
My flop CBet from EP is really low at 65.4%, not sure why that is. Perhaps I’m checking too often with my AA’s and KK’s trying to induce a bet? I’ll try being more aware about it when I play and see what’s happening.
The Blinds:

My W$WSF is very low in the big blind, although I’m not sure if I’m losing money this way since I’m getting a good price to see a flop most of the time. I will check out other people's stats to see how I compare
My VPIP in the small blind is higher than the button, which is a leak I think. I’ll open up a tiny bit more on the button.
3) Non showdown winnings.
As you could see from the graph above, my non showdown winnings are going down pretty steeply. I don’t know if it’s really a leak or if getting the line up a little would actually decrease my winnings (by decreasing my blue-line more), so I will do some researching and reading to see how I could possibly improve it. I’ll make a separate post here once I find some answers
4) Mindset
I read the first three chapters of ‘The Poker Mindset’. It’s been very interesting so far. Here are a few thoughts:
I’ve realized that I’ve been playing for the ‘short-term’. I’m too focused on the outcome of a particular session and if I’m down I’ll play slightly different than if I’m up. The simple solution is to just quit (sometimes this is the only option, because I’m too focused on getting back up even if I know it’s –EV), or to simply be more conscious about it and remind yourself that poker is a long-term game.
I need to get to a point where I feel alright about losing a pot because I know it was the correct move, or if I win a pot but I know I got lucky and played it bad that I take note of it and learn from it. And if I don’t know what the correct move in a certain hand is (happens a lot), I need to be posting on the forum

Goal Update
Short term goals:
1) Make SilverStar on PS this month - Done
2) After every 10k hands played, do an in-depth analysis of my play and post my thoughts in this thread
3) Recognize tilt and either stop the session or start using my brain – semi-on-track so far
4) New Goal - Use the equity trainer from PokerStrategy for 15 minutes every day I play poker.
5) New Goal - Post more hands in this thread and in the hand review forums, and participate in the discussion in the hand review forums on hands from other people.
Medium term goals:
1) Improve my mindset, and read "The Poker Mindset" – I’ve read the first three chapters
2) Get in contact with other MSS players and organize a sweat-session, hand review, etc. – Will hopefully do a sweat session with HollyMichelle
3) Update my progress in this thread regularly. – On track so far
4) Ignore my ego and post hands which I know I played horribly – Haven’t posted enough hands yet
Nothing to report on long term goals.
Thanks for reading
Let me know if you have any questions/suggestions/critiques.
