Hey,

I would like to know if Pokerstrategy.com Elephant can run in Mac using Parallels Desktop or WineBottler.

I notice that some members told that is possible and another ones that can't install it because of PostgreSQL.

It's possible or not?

Thanks for all the replies.

Yes, I installed elephant in my iMac using Parallels, and it works. I'm having some problems importing the hands from the mac to the windows, but i should solve that in a moment. well, i hope so.

Hi,

I have no knowledge about Mac OS, but can't you setup something like a network share? Or use a service like Dropbox to sync your hands.

Can you post a message here when you got it to run on Mac?

Thanks
Michael

Hello,

I make a post also in Spanish community and the Super Moderator Jesus80 said that is running Pokerstrategy.com Elephant in Mac with Parallels Desktop with no problems on XP

Thx

Hi there,

please note that MacOS is officially not supported.
The PokerStrategy.com Elephant needs Windows (XP, Vista or 7) and a running Postgre SQL database service v8.3+.

Here is the linked German thread [1370].

Cheers,
L
