A hand from yesterday coaching.

Known players: (for a description of vp$ip, pfr, ats, folded bb, af, wts, wsd or hands click here)
[tg]Position_Stack:hands/vp$ip/pfr/af/wts/ats/foldbb/w$sd;BU$58.53:///////;Hero$36.89:///////;[/tg]
0.10/0.25 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.9 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A♠, A♦
Hero raises to $1.00, CO folds, BU calls $1.00, 2 folds.

Flop: ($2.35) 7♦, 9♥, J♥ (2 players)
Hero bets $1.75, BU raises to $5.50, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $9.60

I didn't want to play allin for 1.5 stack with only a overpair on the flop, because only better hands or pair with draws/ double draws will call me.
A call on the flop is from my point also bad. because I'm oop and there are too much scare cards for me and then i will have too fold the turn.

So I think the best play is yust too fold.

Hi Divsla!

I would call on the flop and check/raise any blank on the turn. Against a passive opponent I would bet the turn if a blank appears. If a scare card comes up on the turn I would play check/fold.

Good luck at the tables!
