tptk is usually very strong hand blind vs blind so you can consider 3-betting flop and playing for stacks or play the way you did: b/c flop and then c/f on ugly turn card or c/rai on blank turn card
I think he has there two pair+ that he would raise for value, sometimes also pair+draws and combo draws. he may also just blufraise on some hands that he doesn´t want to call, like QK, QT or A7/A8, so generally his range is very wide for raising on the flop an I think a lot of turn cards you can c/rai for value.
Also if turn card was diamond you can c/c again since you now also have nut flushdraw
