I odnt wanna go into a 3bet5bet war w him but my hand is too good vs. his range
so lets have this discussion again ♦
I think that calling 3bets OOP w someoens range is polaryzed is good cause they are happy when I 4bet them cause they can jsut fold or shove their value hands and if I call I make tehm think w their weaker part oft heir range and I let them do stupid things
We cant do things what our opponents want us to do (fe. here he wants us to fold or 4bet)
Thoughts? (actually, I will prob. be stubborn unless u give me a really good point not to do this ♦)

Your call is fine though i prefer to have KQs. 4bet bluffing is fine, KQ isn't that awesome anyway + u are OOP without initiative. If he doesn't 5betjam light I will prefer to 4bet bluff I think, just reduces ur mistakes.

On the flop, ur c/r is fine vs a non thinking reg cos u are not repping anything except JJ-AA which somehow chose to play in this way (though you would probably trap with AA to let overcards hit, u will also 4bet preflop very often). I would definitely float u here if i were BB and pressure u on future streets cos I don't believe u are ever playing TT this way and u dont have 22/33, u also wouldn't c/r/callshove with 77-99 unless you were a fish (but u aren't).

So c/r is good vs ppl with polarized ranges who like to cbet wide range and will just not fight back.

Vs a smarter player who will barrel overcards a lot, we can c/jam JX possibly, c/c K/Q on the turn and let him barrel his stack off. We can definitely float OOP on the river when he checks behind on the turn and we will be able to steal it anyway.

Basically the weaker your opponent is postflop, the more i prefer to call. And c/ring the flop is better if u expect him to apply a ton of pressure on the turn and river (and if u think u can get him to fold his air). If not floating OOP reduces ur loss vs his monsters mostly.
