Hi again. Here is a hand i`d like to post here and get some comments on.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $60(BB) Replayer
SB ($1,240)
BB ($1,350)
UTG ($1,585)
Hero ($1,965)
CO ($755)
BTN ($2,105)

Dealt to Hero A♠ A♥

UTG calls $60, Hero raises to $210, fold, BTN calls $210, fold, fold, fold

FLOP ($570) K♥ 9♣ K♦

Hero checks, BTN bets $570, Hero calls $570

TURN ($1,710) K♥ 9♣ K♦ 7♠

Hero checks, BTN bets $1,325 (AI), Hero calls $1,185 (AI)

The BTN is unknown got 298 hands for him and he is 40/8/3.9 with 77% fold to cbet and 36% bet in position at the flop.

Preflop i stick to my standart 2.5+1 raise, is it ok?

On the flop i was either ahead or way behind and decided to check and try to induce some bets if he is with some crap or kind of mid pp or Ax. After his pot bet i`m going broke anyway, so i decided to let him hang himself if he doesnt have a K and just call.

The turn just kept the line i`ve got on the flop.

Am i missing some value or it is ok with this flop and all the things in the hand?

Preflop raise is bit large, 160-180 should be better.

Postflop is bit strange, I think I'd rather bet/call than check/call. Bet flop, check/call turn.

i think its fine to take this induce line against this guy. but anssi's line is the std one

My point was that he will fold hands like Ax if i bet, and he may try to bluf it out with them. If he is with the K i`m crushed anyway. If he is with some pp he`s up to 2 outs and he`s more likely to get it in no matter if i bet first or he bets there, so i think i gain some extra value from his air hands and get almost the same from the others. If u can share why u think bet/call is better, so i can be able to use it next time :)

Check just looks stronger. I bet because I expect him to call with any pocket pairs. Checking is fine too, I probably don't do it enough myself in these spots.

I can see now, sounds reasonable

you check to induce against aggressive players that will bluff the paired board
you bet against passive players who will call down light on paired boards

nh for me

check for bluff induce on paired board is so nice, especially if we face an aggressive opponent

and even against passive we can induce him to call turn and river with low showdown value

I don't mind your line or anssi's line, but I don't like his idea of a smaller bet preflop, I just don't see why.

But I think I would C/R the flop. It looks still kind of bluffy (why would we C/R a K) and could make him call a wide range of hands. And I don't have to give him the turn card that could scare some bluffs.
