Villain 53/11/1 over 224 hands.

Villain was playing as if on tilt and I had taken about 40BBs from him a few hands earlier.

Should I have raised larger from BB or was a standard 3 x the original bet ok?

Was I running scared to fold once raised on the flop or was it ok to think I asked the question and got the answer?

Maybe a c/f would have been better on the flop, although it might be seen as showing weakness.

What do you think?

$0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em - 8 players

UTG: $3.81
UTG+1: $5.90
MP1: $10.43
MP2: $7.95
CO: $10.50
BTN: $10.00
Hero (SB): $11.79
BB: $10.21

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is SB with A  K :spade:
UTG raises to $0.20, 5 folds, Hero raises to $0.60, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.30) 8  Q  7 :club: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.90, UTG raises to $1.80, Hero folds

Hello Cooleyman,

Preflop: Yeah, I'd usually even raise it to $0,80. 4x his raise.
Postflop: While he is such a station then you can as well just Check/Fold it here as well. A lot of connectors hit + broadways as well. Although it ain't like a mistake to CBet it with some backdoors but fold to the min-raise.

Best regards.
