Hi

I wasn't sure where to put this topic, but I hope I did it in the right place :)

My brother and I recently started playing poker. Since we don't want anyone to think we are cheating in any way, we don't sit at the same tables. But would it be a bad idea to sign up for the same tournaments as long as they are big? Like the pokerstrategy freeroll on partypoker with more than 1000 contestants.

Just give me your thoughts :)

AFAIK most poker sites won't permit members of the same household to play in the same tournament. There's a chance you might find yourselves at the same table.

If you haven't already, you should contact the poker room's support people and let them know why there are two accounts at the same IP address, so they don't think you have a duplicate acount.

Hi Contrast90,

Yes, the right place to ask =)

As per belayd, I also suggest you contact the poker room and let them know the situation just to avoid any confusion.

Good luck to you both!
Ingrid

ps: thank you belayd!
