, but I think he should be folding anyway-he doesnt beat anything. Unless he has a supergreat read.

Yup yup, exactly, he is at top of his range and if u use a bit bigger sizing so u can shove R (for like 3/5-2/3) u get more dead money, easy game

Yep, I agree the sizing is not the best. Have to work on that.

Played another session-I recorded it with camtasia. I find that when I am recording for further analysis I think through every spot much more and play much better bc I dont want my play to look bad afterwards when I am reviewing it It might sound extremely wierd but rly helps me a lot I have been A gameing the whole session and rly satisfied with my play.

Regs are bad, software is bad, vip system is bad No, srsly -I think the games should be a bit softer than on stars(or I hope they are bc it would make no sense to play there), but the vip system is probably the worst ever. Software is ok i guess, It has a few things that are rly terrible-like when I want to write a note, anytime a table gets action it switches focus and I stop writing the note and have to click back to the note window. But its not the worst either.

You can open settings and disable pop up game window when its your turn to act.

hand1: cbeh on T is better for: A, u have the best hand a lot ; B, if u dont, and u get c/r (usually on below NL200 coz this makes no sense whatsoever on more agro lims), it sucks, also u have 0feq on most of better hands right here. As played on T, i think still Rcbeh is better. Maybe some 8x of :diamond: he might have here, but rly not many at all which are c/f, therefore ur bet could easily be just a donation, also: if u want to make sure he is folding his 8x :diamond: which is pretty much the only reasonable c/r Trange, which is worse than ur hand, u should make sure rly by betting at least 1/2 or 3/5, i dont like this betsize. Or was this for value? If it was a vbet vs Qhigh or worse, i dont like it either. W the T action, this is too big then.. i like prolly sth ridiculous like: 5$ . No balancing needed when u have no meta.

hand2: the higher u go, the more this is a F c/r purely for value and balancing of c/r ranges coz u should c/r this as bluff a lot obv. But yea, on NL100 F is prolly more standard esp if u re not superactive postflop in general. As for T&R: this is no discussion at all here. lol. u HAVE to snapcall obv. U re on abs top of ur 2street calling range on such a board, saying u were thinking abt a fold is longruntotally inviting ppl to 3barell bluff u off anything u might have in these spots. On NL400+ this is an easy 3 street vbet from him w 9T so, u can never ever ever fold.

Hey, thanks for the ideas.

Hand1: I thought about it yesterday that cback might be better but wasnt sure. The thing is he might be turning some low pp into a bluff on the turn. And when I call the c/r and then bet the river so small I thought I look so much like Ax. Ofc I have the best hand quite often, but just wanted to make sure he folds-I think I can make it rly small,bc he cant call here or can he?

About his c/r range-I think it is pretty fishy to do on this board he isnt repping much. I think he is just fed up with me floating so he could have any2 he openraised here, which ofc consists of quite some low pp, thats why I didnt want to cback at first.

Also if I cback the turn, am I willing to call any non-diamond rivers? I feel people on NL100 dont take bet/check/bet lines to bluff very often.

Hand2: u are 100% right I am way too weak in these spots.

Quick update: Feel rly comfortable at NL100 atm, last week went extremely well, only thing is that I didnt put in much volume.

So I have a challenge for myself for remainder of the month:
1) dont look at any graphs nor the cashier
2) make it to the top 250 (380. atm)
3) learn to manage my time a lot better-browsing some forums just 4fun and killing time on facebook isnt going to help me progress much.
4) put in a fixed amount of high volume every day, try to develop some routine. Atm I just play randomly, no real plan-do you guys think its better to have stuff in poker planed or just play randomly "when you feel like playing"?

Anyway had this little idea about multiway pots(might be total BS not sure just came across my mind):

Cassava Poker $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players - View hand 1320277
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

BTN: $72.36
SB: $79.47
BB: $113.70
Hero (UTG): $104.65
MP: $138.76
CO: $134.57

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is UTG with 9 :club: 9
Hero raises to $3, MP calls $3, CO calls $3, BTN calls $3, 2 folds

Flop: ($13.50) A :spade: 4  T :spade: (4 players)
Hero checks, MP checks, CO checks, BTN bets $5, Hero folds, MP calls $5, CO folds

Turn: ($23.50) J :club: (2 players)
MP checks, BTN checks

River: ($23.50) 5  (2 players)
MP checks, BTN checks

Lets say I am BU here. It is pretty clear that UTG is giving up like 95% of the time and the others never have a strong hand-they would bet. So if I stab here for 3/4 pot I take it down very, very often. My idea was if it wont be better to bet like 1/3 pot to get a call out of their very weak ranges and create more dead money to take down on the turn(like they might peel with Tx for 1/3 pot). Would love to hear some ideas on this. It could be generalized-like if I know people have a very weak range somewhere, it should be better to keep them in the pot and make them fold later to create a greater EV of the play then just betting standart and taking it down?

Also my first video is out for the CZ/SK community, it features LooserSK reviewing a session I played, realized some of my leaks(e.g.river betsizing), pretty happy about it.

cauko Matus,

"Fear of losing happens most often when we lack confidence or stop enjoying the game and play more for the money."

Google translate! :f_thumbsup:

1, really famous thing, well, you have the chance to experience it now and adjust to proactively combat this is to be called by winners tilt, but as it is called in DrGiggy 1 of its series of BFP to be simpler: fear of losing. "Fear of losing happens most often when we lack confidence or stop enjoying the game and play more for the money." What he recommends, as well, and also other coach I have heard from at least marginally references, is: you have to analyze more! The more analysis, especially before the session, the more you go into session with mindsetom: this and this I'm going to try, see how it works and in doing so, eg. to analyze a specific fix rega and try to exact its session here in najvaic abuse. Hence the stereotype vyhnes and your passion for the game itself very be most likely to grow.

2, I think it's stupid to play poker every day. It is clear that the weekends are quite a bit more fishy than the rest of week, so it makes sense to investigate and analyze more through the week. But definitely help you manage yourself some medium-long term plan where you want to tighten poker and start to work systematically reviews videos al. analyzer hands and under. Eg. Travis my coach advised not to limit new requirementu according to BI, but the net according to how many videos and hands the man discussed in depth. To your limits, I would say that would be a skip at least 20-30videy (after 2 hours work, not just look quick) and at least 50ruk deeper disassemble. Eg. situcia than what you up may be used for one of them. Btw: yes, do it, and has a perfect sense of beige 1 / 3 in that spot. But you gotta be ready for the lighter c / r and therefore can be extended another float range mainly agro against gaming.

_thumbsup:

Poker Update:

Played 5mins of online poker, before some1 started spamming me on skype :). After that went off to play a 20 euro BI live deepstack MTT. Finished 10/60, played 6 hours. Such a waste of time if I compare my tournament EV and the EV of 6hours @100NL. But was quite fun though, live players are extremely bad, sometimes I couldnt even believe wtf was going on. One extremely funny situation, where I had to try rly hard not to LOL:
some1 raises, a megafish w 10bb calls 3bb. Flop comes T89r PFA pushed AI. The fishy guy keeps looking at his hand, tanks forever, then finally calls with 67s with the words: "you cant have QJ bc you wouldnt raise that preflop, just limp it- I almost folded my hand. "
The structure was rly wierd though, 2/3 of the tournament I was playing with 10-25BB so it was more of a gamble I guess. I realized I suck pretty hard at playing with like 15-30B->when Im deeper its easy game and when Im shorter I just play ICM, but with this stacksize Im clueless. But dont care too much, Im not planning to play many MTTs in the future, its too much of a gamble, less edge.

RL BS update:

I have an exam on Tuesday(mathematical analysis) so I should maybe start studying so I dont fail(tbh I dont care too much about it, but would be nice just to prove to myself that If I want I CAN :)).

99% sure that Im going "PRO" next year, have to work on a lot of things ofc. Kinda also brings up the question what I want to do in life? I definitely dont want to be a poker pro forever, my plan is like 1-2 years, make as much $ as possible and then finish school(I hope I will be able to do that after not doing anything for a longer period of time)and ofc find out the meaning of life.

Also need to socialize more asap, I feel so lonely sometimes, just kinda locked up in my own mind. need ++++serotonin . Find a girlfriend or smthing. Even though I think that is nearly impossible. But if you know a girl that is good-looking, intelligent and she doesnt think she is the center of the universe, then im obviously all-in.

Anyway so this post is not so monotone, some music :) Not a big fan of MGMT at all but the melody of this song used to haunt my mind.

Some light hand analysis with ThESHade today after I woke up(3pm lol), after that played a short session. Some hands perhaps:

Vs agro fish, He never has anything here-Tx he is beting the flop and that turn doesnt help him unless he has 44(in that case im paying him off with my Ahigh), esp after river pairs the ten a he makes it quite big I am almost certain I have the best hand.

This1 is against agressive regfish. I though he will attack this flop pretty often since I will be cbeting it quite wide-Im def. not folding on the flop. The turn is interesting-if he would bomb it here I would probably make a crying fold, bc its such a terrible card for him to barrel and I look a lot like Kx. River sucks a lot, but went for a c/c-I know he is raising his FD on the flop and also 67 gets there, but I thought his bluffing range is wide enough to justify a call here, also I am at the absolute top of my percieved range(considering my line). Im not so sure about this one though, I would need some more info about his flop raising range to make any further assumptions-without this information its a total guessing game on the river(he did have JTo in this case).

Again vs same regular. We are deep and I dont want to call it off, so I just flat. Decide to lead the turn for value -I think he has some SD value here, either A high or a weak pair. River I decide to c/c because draws miss - Tx he is cbeting and Kx also(he doesnt have showdown value) unless he has AK which is just 1 hand-I know his betsizing looks a lot like value but I was quite sure he is capable of bluffing like this.
