Think about how 'tough', 'although' and 'thought' are pronounced, and you get some idea of why English spelling is so hard to learn.
And imo 'though' is usually just a random brainfart best removed from any sentence in which it appears.

lol I am aware of the fact that I don't always apply the right rules when I'm typing, esp not on the forums.
The difference is, that I am not trying to teach others how to use it/what it means.
As far as I'm concerned, people are better off not asking my advice when it comes to english grammar.

You might need to read my post again, there was nothing wrong with the way you typed in your last post and I never said anything like that 
. I was trying to explain that I think "though" has the same connection to previous sentences as "but" has. I still think it is this way, although I wasn't clear enough in my first post about the fact that you shouldn't actually write by using "But" at the start of a sentence, just that I was trying to explain how you better can understand how the word "though" works by thinking that way.
I'm sorry if you're offended by my trying to reply to the OPs question.
If you don't agree with my explanation, of course you can say what you think, but I don't understand why you would feel the need to imply that I shouldn't have replied at all in the first place. If you, as you say, don't generally try to help or teach, that's fine, but why would you discourage other people from helping too? I'm afraid it comes naturally to me to atleast try to help if I think I know something about it 
so if you don't mind, the difference will continue to be that you are not trying to teach others, while I will keep trying to.
You're right, I did understand it as if you were implying that I used my though the wrong way, since your last sentence went "you wouldnt use though that way either".
In my defence I had to read it 3 times over before I really got it right. ♦ Ofc I'm not discouraging anyone from helping out others, but when I felt you started picking on my sentences I went into defence mode. My apologies.
Besides, I don't mind trying to help people, but I just don't want to give any advice on english grammar (simply because I suck at it, not implying you do).

English needs a word for that, like we have in Swedish
