nah, i cant stand the salt eating through my skin. Guess im too sensitive. If there's no shower at the beach noone can make me swim in the sea.

But i d love to learn how to surf/kite or this insanity

Totally missed this thread. I actually managed to screw up my back recently - went to the beach close to my house, huge waves near the shore. I warned my girlfriend of a huge wave, got caught in it myself, took that one fairly well, but the next lifted me off the ground ~3m and I fell flat on my chest, my legs still in the wave, my back bending in a very unnatural way.

That's also the day I gave up my plan of buying a wetsuit for winter bodyboarding...
