hey, sorry to hear bout bad run. in my opinion, 50 buy ins are too much for the micros (cash games). i myself use 25, but sometimes take shots with 20 buy ins. ofc this depends a lot on ur comfort level with the limit. cash and sngs are different creatures. i wish i knew more about tournament play actually.

yeah, they're really totally different creatures. i can easily win in micro SnGos while easily lose in cash games. LOL

nevertheless, i was proud of my play.
will play some NL 5 cash games again. yesterday, i did well in the full ring. hopefully, with all my might and mindset, will do again today.
i played almost 30 multitabling today, and woot! my decisions were kinda off.
i can optimally still make good decisions when playing around 15-20 tables. will stick to that for the mean time.
i want to order Jared's book entitled the "Mental Game of Poker"! i believe i have a good mindset and i have ways of improving my mindset by myself but i think this book will take my mindset to the next level.
by the way, i'm a bit glad that the month of May is on the green already. hehe

Looking forward to this... but as I have already chosen to specialize in SNGs, I think i will only be spending 25% or less of my poker time and resources on cash game formats... I feel I need to be master of something but free coaching is something we should take advantage...

SnGo Project:
I've decided to venture on Sit&Gos as a way to move up in the limits faster.
During this weekend, I had the whole two days off on playing, and instead invested time on planning.
I studied my previous months and I had been achieving roughly 40 to 50% ROI. But since my average buy-in is low, profits were not that very high.
So I thought, I could venture on Sit&Gos and saw the possibility of profiting well in them. By putting in atleast 1,000 volume every month and achieving roughly 20% ROI, that would be a good source of income already. At the same time, there is decent traffic on limits to climb at, but I need to adjust my gaming time though. By beating the limits step by step, I'm looking at the possibility of being a regular at the $30 and $60 buy-ins by the end of the year.
Here is my project:
I will move up the limits when:
- I have won atleast 150 buy-ins in that limit
- And when I have achieved a certain bankroll
Current bankroll: $570
- Will start playing at >>> $3.50
- Upon reaching $1,200 >>> $7
- $2,500 >>> $15
- $5,000 >>> $30
- $10,000 >>> $60
- $25,000 >>> $100
I will move down the limit when I've lost 20 buy-ins below the minimum bankroll.
I am targeting on playing atleast 50 games a day and doing up to 10 multi-tabling.
I won't mix in MTTs so that I could fully concentrate on them except on Sundays when i'll play the Sunday Storm and Daily Big and probably the $11 DeepStack.
I am also targeting on buying a new desktop computer with faster speed and bigger screen monitor. I thought I need to put on this investment so that I could use HUD while playing.
I would appreciate comments, ideas, and suggestions.

I suggest looking at lessthanthree's blog. He's a great 9-max player and u should be able to find out there.
About 6-max I think roi might be a bit higher due to more postflop play and that might lead to a bigger edge. Also they aren't as reg infested yet i think.
My first set of 10's $3.50 9-max turbo
- got only 2 ITMs, one 2nd and one 3rd
- haven't been winning enough flips
- my conclusion, i don't like turbos. hayz
- the problem is, most of the traffic is in turbos, so what should i do? hmmm
i will play another set of 10s and see how it'll go though.

now i'm really getting discouraged with pursuing Sit&Gos. I just damn hate turbos. sigh.....
i know i'm playing well though. but after 20 games and i'm down 16 buy-ins, it's really depressing......
so here's a temporary conclusion: i'm never fit to play turbos. to climb the limits of SitnGos, i need to adapt myself with turbos because continuous traffic is there --- which i apparently can't adapt with at the moment.
hmmm. i probably need to watch some videos first. till then, i might stick back to micro mtts for a while.
pre suggestion lang.. dont multitable too much. Reads on possible hand ranges of your opponents is very important on STTs imo. I only play 2 tables max. just find your comfot zone, try 6max u might find it easier to beat. practice on $1.50s first, get the feel of it, once your comfortable, move up to 3.50, then crush the tables. ♠_biggrin:
Dont make any early conclusion before you have decent sample. There is a lot of blogs about SNG so you got feeling about possible ROI, sample you need to see where you are, BR management (see you are on conservative side, as me) and variance which is still mine biggest problem. Keep on and GL.
